Breezyside

Miriam's place was just the getaway we needed. The cottage has everything necessary to enjoy our stay, cooking supplies, utensils, and supplies in general. The lake was amazing and serene, SUPs were put to good use and the swimming proved to be quite refreshing. Cottage was cozy and comfortable. We will definitely go back if we find ourselves in the same neck of the woods.
A serene view from the covered porch showcases a calm pond surrounded by lush greenery and colorful autumn foliage. The still water reflects the vibrant trees, while a wooden railing frames the scene, enhancing the natural beauty.

Waterfront seclusion with room for everyone

HaimRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a wonderful time staying in the house. We spent a week there - 10 people including 3 kids. We really enjoyed the almost private lake, kayaks, the books and games. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed. It is all very quiet and relaxing. We appreciated very much that Claire had let us stay late on the checkout day.
The tranquil lake reflects the surrounding trees and sky, creating a serene atmosphere. Two individuals are seated on the dock, overlooking the water. Comfortable white Adirondack chairs are arranged in front of a small fire pit, providing a great spot to enjoy the peaceful setting.

Historic Lakefront Cottage in White Mountains NH

SarahRating, 5 stars20 months ago
The lake house was everything we were looking for. There were plenty of towels, linens, kitchen supplies, etc to make staying for a week less of a hassle. we loved the lake and the screened in porch! If you're not afraid of some spiders (can't be helped, you're in nature!) and can make do with a TINY shower, then this place is definitely worth it.

Bear Pause Cabin and Adirondack Shelter

Second stay. 10/10 would stay again. Close enough to town, but feels remote. Limited cell service is good/bad depending on your view. Love the location and all of the instructions and recommendations provided. Have yet to stay in the bunkhouse, as it is chilly when I have been there. Biff is responsive, when needed.

Lakewood Cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Thank you , Susan for a wonderful stay! Your home was beautiful. Some of the things we loved were the overall comfort and coziness of your home, the porch and hot tub, we loved being able to walk down to the water and enjoy the unexpected warm weather this week. We cooked every meal but one and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for preparing and enjoying meals with family. The views of the lake from inside the house and the loft were so peaceful and enjoyed very much. A short trip to Hardwick to enjoy the shops and restaurants was wonderful too. Front Street Coffee was a star! The book store, gift shop and Cork and Fork were all wonderful places to visit. We stayed with two adults and four tweens and all had a wonderful time. We will likely visit again! Thank you!

Lake Front Cottage

LynnRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My husband and I spent a week at Rebecca's Lake Front Cottage and absolutely loved it! Over the years we've rented a few different cottages on Lake Groton (they book up quickly), and this one is by far our favorite! The setting is private, and the cottage is clean, cozy, rustic, and comfortable with a fully-stocked kitchen and every amenity you can think of. The glassed-in sunporch has a breathtaking, panoramic view of the lake. We spent many hours playing cards in the sunroom and slept on the comfy bed in that room every night. We had terrific weather, spent a lot of time on the outdoor deck, and enjoyed using the outdoor gas grill and firepit. We went for a ride on our pontoon boat multiple times a day and enjoyed fishing from the boat and the cottage's dock. There's a very small, sandy beach area that's perfect for entering the water for a swim or launching/docking a kayak. Rebecca is a friendly and responsive host. We had a terrific stay and definitely want to return.

We were so pleased with our stay here. It had it all! We were able to relax and completely unwind. The home is exactly as described and so much more. Our host was absolutely amazing. Everything was communicated and Rod and Lulu went above and beyond to make our stay special. This will be our first choice in Vermont to stay again.

Waterfront Cozy Lake Home on Pristine Lake Parker

JesseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here on a snowmobile trip. House is right off the VAST system. Parker Pie is less than 1 mile away by sled and has good food and trail side gas. Place was exactly what we needed; private cabin that could sleep a group of guys after a long day riding.

Relaxing Cottage Retreat on Shadow Lake Glover VT

EllenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent 3 nights at Nella and James's house while we skied at Jay Peak and Burke Mountain. A winter storm hit while we were there and we had to stay put for a day. The house was warm and cozy, and we watched the storm through all the all the windows. We took a long walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It is definitely a place that we would like to visit again. James and Nella were very responsive and helpful!

Crystal lake is an astounding place, and Kristine is an incredible host. Her beautiful lake house was just as pictured, we had a wonderful time both at Crystal lake and visiting/hiking at Lake Willoughby. We had the great luck of crisp beautiful late fall weather, (just right!), and had such fun. Thanks Kristine and family for a lovely stay! We would definitely love to come back!
