For us, Geri's place was an experience stay. it is very remote in exceptionally beautiful country. We were in the area to visit a relative and enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with the door lock in the evening which Geri promptly responded to and corrected. Overall our experience was good. The king size mattress was very comfortable, although it would benefit from some nicer bedding. For example, there was no mattress pad and one of the blankets was an old electric blanket (with no cord provided) which was scratchy/uncomfortable. We encountered a number of crickets and other bugs but this could be in part from the air conditioner units not being sealed around the edges. And it's a farm/rural area, so some bugs would be expected. I think groups of hunters might really enjoy this property. (We loved the remoteness and the cute kitty who hung around the house.) We loved everything about this house! The setting is very serene overlooking the water. The cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed for our family of 6. We enjoyed walking down to the lake and using our kayaks. The restaurants were great - we tried The Wagon Wheel and Hungry Horse. Also caught a cattle auction, which was fun for our kids. We will definitely be back!!

This was the perfect place to stay for our work trip to the area for a week and a half. Super convenient location, and the decor and thoughtful touches far surpassed most AirBnB’s I’ve stayed at across the country in large cities! Very comfortable, homey space, with every amenity we could have asked for and more. Our flight got delayed so we arrived quite late and the code to get in wasn’t working, but thankfully it was easy to get ahold of the host and get the door reprogrammed! So the host is responsive to any needs that come up. Beautiful stay and will recommend to all future colleagues who visit the area!

Beautiful little tiny home. Gave us the exact experience we were looking for when staying here. What a fun place to call home for the weekend. Marcia was a great host. Very helpful, friendly, and even baked us fresh kolaches upon arrival. We would definetly stay here again!

Cindy was a pleasant and an understanding host, when it snowed and we needed an extra night Cindy and her cleaning crew graciously accommodated us. The house itself is an incredible setting for hosting a large family or a couple of close families looking for a great place to stay. We will definitely be back in the future, thank you, Cindy!

Our stay at the farm house was perfect! The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. We were traveling with kids (big and little) and having a house like this to stay in made our visit very enjoyable. Lisa met us at the house and got us checked in. We had a great time! For being a last minute mini vacation it turned out great! Having the restaurant right next door was super nice and we never heard anything noise from our guest house. Hot tub was clean and did not smell like a giant chemical bath which is huge to us! Beds were comfortable and have the electric base so you’re able to put you head and feet up!

Located a couple minutes from Burwell and ~10 minutes from the Calamus Reservoir, it was a simple & convenient base of operations for us to do a quick family trip to Calamus. Everything as described, and at a reasonable price. Unrelated to this specific house or host, the flies in the area were pretty overwhelming in number - would recommend travelers to the area planning/packing supplies accordingly. Andrea had some bug spray out for us, which was nice to have.

Bonnie was very accommodating during our stay. Friendly and helpful. Took the kids horseback riding and was always friendly and responsive.

This house was perfect for our family gathering! Three families were able to enjoy time together. We loved spending time on the farm, enjoying the peace and beautiful views. We would love to stay here again in the future! Desirei was so responsive and kind, even left an Easter basket for our son! She was an amazing host!

This home is very spacious. We had plenty of room to dine and hang out as a family. It was so nice to have so many bathrooms upstairs. The beds & linens were very comfortable. The porch & back yard were very nice for family to hang out as well. We were in town visiting family & will definitely be renting again. It was a perfect place for my family & sister’s family to stay together so we could dine & play games and share the same space.
