Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Calacoto, Macrodistrito Sur

Our family of 4 (2 kids aged 8 and 10) stayed with Eneida and Bernardo for 7 nights, and could not have been happier with our choice. The house is wonderful, character home just outside the center of the neighbourhood of Sopocachi. Like most of La Paz, there are hills to be navigated, however we very much enjoyed walking to all destinations from the home. It is only about 20 minutes to the heart of the city. The house itself is very spacious, and seems like a rarity in terms of size. It is a shared space, however the owners go out of their way to ensure you have your privacy. They have an adorable dog named Blanca that checks in on you every day. We had more than enough space in the bedrooms to be comfortable, and their were plenty of warm blankets and space heaters to keep you warm during the chilly evenings. Absolutely the best part about the home is the hospitality of Eneida and Bernardo. From the moment we arrived they made us feel like part of their extended "family", providing fresh bread each morning and lots of recommendations on the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to be staying at the home while Bernardo's family was visiting, and were welcomed into their group without reservation. It was wonderful to sit by the fireplace and exchange stories during the evenings. We highly recommend staying with Eneida and Bernardo.

A lovely place away from central La Paz. Fabian and his mum are lovely hosts. The space is a good size for two people. There were a few issues that were resolved quickly. There are some lovely eateries within walking distance. The main shopping center is a 15 to 20 minute walk and about 10 Bolivianos by taxi or Uber. A vegetable and meat market is close by. We had a lovely three week stay.

La casa estuvo muy bonita y acogedora, un poco alejado de los lugares turísticos pero los taxis son económicos para poder desplazarse, la casa está con todo lo necesario para poder tener una buena estadía.

Mi estancia en Bolivia y la de mis amigos fue muy amena. La casa es muy bonita y tiene todas las comodidades que nos permitieron disfrutar nuestro viaje. Viviana y su suegro Luis son hosts muy amables, que siempre están al pendiente de cualquier situación o cosa que se necesite. Muy lindas personas.

This place is spectacular and is so close to the geen line. The nearby shops are lovely. It felt like I was in New York!! The view from the balcony of the garden is magical and the staff at the hotel made us feel safe. The staff is available around the clock. The breakfast is proivded at a discount and there is a huge selection of meats, pastries, stir fries, eggs, etc. to choose from. I will try to bring my family back to this magical location.

We had a lovely stay we Colibri Eco Lodge. The site is peaceful with fabulous views. The hut was basic but the photos were clear about this so there were no surprises. The shower had hot water and we were never cold at night. Breakfast was included and served by the friendly staff. We had planned on doing different day trips but ended up staying on site as it was so peaceful. We were there in October, so not a busy time. Unfortunately, we arrived Monday and left on Friday so not many places for dinner were open. However, Colibri serves dinner so we ate in three times and enjoyed it.

Es un buen sitio en La Paz, rodeado de buenos restaurantes, cafés y tiendas de ropa.

El departamento es muy lindo, bastante cómodo y con todo lo necesario, bien iluminado y con una temperatura agradable, adecuado para el clima de La Paz. La zona además es tranquila, segura, cerca de restaurantes y supermercados. El personal del edificio muy amable. Mariana fue una excelente anfitriona! Estuvo atenta a cualquier duda que tuvimos y nos colaboró de manera muy amable para hacer la reserva y con nuestro check out. Volvería sin dudas, muy recomendado!

El lugar es muy bonito, seguro, amplio estacionamiento, la cocina muy bien dotada, habían cosas disponibles en la alacena como para hacerte un café si llegas muy tarde, la host resuelve dudas muy rápido. Volvería a hospedarme allí. Gracias Alex.

Strategic location if your destination is in the south of the city. Very attentive host. You will receive a reply quickly. Stayed for ten days and the host provided me with extra linens, which was good. Very secure, quite place, nice neighbourhood and lots of restaurants in a few minutes walk.

Un lugar muy acogedor en San Miguel y sobretodo con una excelente atención de Remberto, sin duda recomendable!

Llegué a la ciudad de La Paz en la mañana , sin tener alojamiento en la ciudad , encontré a través del Arbnb este Depto y lo tomé !! Si bien el checkin es a las 14:00, el anfitrión no tuvo ningún problema en que ocupara el depto inmediatamente .! Fue una estadía muy tranquila , el lugar es realmente seguro y bien ubicado ! We stayed at Soraya‘s place for two weeks and it was really good. Soraya is a very nice host and very helpful and the view from the apartment is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Carlos fue un anfitrión excelente, respondió todas mis dudas y consultas con mucha amabilidad. El sitio impecable, cómodo, con todos los utensilios necesarios y una vista increíble. El barrio donde se encuentra es tranquilo, con supermercados, cafeterías y muchas tiendas cercanas. Agradecida de haber encontrado este lugar en La Paz, que se sintió como en casa.

Great apartment with a nice location and easy access to the cable cars. Our Host Nelo really went above and beyond helping us with a late check in, local recommendations and sorting us some fuel during the crisis really helping us out. Thanks Nelo!

I had a great stay at Claudia’s apartment in La Paz. The building is very well located and offers top security. The apartment is very comfy, modern and has a nice view. There is everything you need in it. Claudia has also been very proactive and helpful from pre-arrival until departure. Thanks again for your hospitality!
