Vacation rentals in Cain City

My mom and I loved this cabin. We watched the hummingbirds fight over nectar every day. Also saw deer and other birds and an armadillo. Location has N incredible view. Very peaceful and serene. Hosts were wonderful!

The place is amazing, but the HOSTS ARE OUTSTANDING! You will not find more responsive, considerate, kind and all around friendly folks! The cottage has Terlingua vibes (if you know, you know) and I’m here for it! Super cute, clean and all the stuff you need. The porch is peaceful and perfect for morning coffee. As I said, Elizabeth is just awesome. She was very responsive and even offered an early check-in! She goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need and answer any questions at any hour of the day (or night)! We will be returning when we go back to Fredy!

We had an amazing stay at The Dove House! The house was so quiet, quaint, and spotlessly clean, exactly what we were hoping for. It had such a cozy feel and you could tell every detail was thoughtfully put together. Carley even left us some homemade granola, which was absolutely delicious! Communication was easy and everything was just as described, if not better. It’s the perfect spot if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Tons of fun great location and great host

We loved ROAM! Beautifully laid out space using the 2 shipping containers. Really nice kitchen (fully equipped) and roof top deck area. She used nice linens, towels, blankets, and robes to complement the 2 bathrooms and bed area. The location is extremely peaceful and secluded from the bustling downtown area of Fredicksburg, however you are only a 5 minute drive to the shops and restaurants. Can't wait to stay here again

We loved our stay! We came to town for the outlaw half marathon race and this cabin was perfect. It’s located about 15 minutes from Fredericksburg that has a bunch of great food spots and is close to a ton of wineries. The cabin itself is super cute and cozy. The beds were SO comfy. The hot tub was super nice to dip into after our race. In the evening we fed the animals some carrots and had a fire for s’mores. The instructions for check in and check out were clear and the cleaning list was minimal. 10/10 recommend this cabin for a stay!

Very quiet and private, can’t see any other houses. Spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck just listening to the birds. Very nice getaway for a couple.

The cabin was cozy and in great condition when we arrived. The check in process was easy and the host provided clear instructions for everything. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

My sister and I stayed here for a night and it was a great getaway as well as being only 15 minutes from town and we loved seeing the animals. The cabin was very neat and cozy, the instructions were very clear and the communication was excellent. We hope to come back sometime soon. Thank you!
