You can tell Nina really cares about her guests – communication was smooth, she was super helpful with local tips, and made check-in a breeze. If you're heading to Sal and want the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cape Verde, Nina’s place is it. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

A fabulous apartment, small complex with pool and direct beach access - just as described. Peter was a great host - met us on arrival and gave lots of helpful local tips. The apartment was spotless, very comfy bed, and had everything we needed for our stay. Really recommend it and Santa Maria is beautiful! Thank you 🤩

Leonardo and Susana are human-grade hosts. Very professional and good tips for discovering their island. We had to leave early for my mom's health reasons, Susana was very attentive. Me and my friends had a great time at this Airbnb home. It is very spacious, cozy and just meters from the beach. Elsemanual is very warm and friendly. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and address our needs. The roar of the ocean nearby helped make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a home away from home with a Cape Verdean cultural flair, I would highly recommend this place.

Great place to relax. Magnificent view on the ocean from the terrace. Centrally located to the market, the bakery and travel agency. We would have loved to stay longer.

Our stay was in a word great, it is a beautiful penthouse with sea views just outside Mindelo. The host Tânia with her buddy Pery literally constantly stood by for us, very nice to be received so hospitably. Mindelo is about a 30-minute walk away, but they make sure that someone is constantly ready to bring you, they also arrange nice trips for you like swimming with turtles. We have never felt so at home on holiday, so a super recommended, a thousand thanks to Pery and Tânia, you are great!

We had a lovely stay at José's, who is good at giving advice and responsive! The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped. it is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and a 2-minute walk to the beach. It is located close to the port.

Very nice space, in the center of the village, which gave us a good stay and good times, despite needing some maintenance. We were greeted by Gabi, who was available when we needed it. We leave a thank you to Veronica (Bar Pedra Balea), Gabi's sister, for her culinary gifts, the fish mass was divine. Thank you Odile.

The house is just like in the photographs, a wooden construction in which nothing has been left to chance and which is filled with small details and revealing details of the love and affection with which it was built and appreciated. Like any wooden house, it is already showing small points in need of maintenance, but nothing serious. The view from the house on the outer porch is stunning and it's precisely what we loved the most. To stay outside at night, observing the immensity of the starry sky and in silence, only with the sound of the sea, was equally pleasant. The perfect home to welcome us with our family. We leave with great desire to return for more days. Small appliances missing can improve the experience (kettle or coffee maker). On the contiguous terrain of the house a new dwelling is being built, which removes privacy from the porch. Workers are respectful and do not start making noise too early.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a lovely stay at Carlo's house and enjoyed his hospitality. The view is amazing and the house well equiped. Supermarkets, hiking spots and the town are all nearby - which was very conveniant. Great place to stay during visiting the valley!

Evaristo personally welcomed us to his beautiful and spacious beach house. From the upper floor we had wonderful views of the beach, the sea and Santo Antão from both the room and the outdoor kitchen/lounge. Within walking distance there are a few mini-mercados where the essentials are available. Except for a few day guests at the beach and restaurant Chez Zoe, there are hardly any tourists. The locals are kind and authentic. The connection with Aluguers to Mindelo works great (frequent connections) and is a great experience every time. Baia das Gatas can also be reached with a little luck and negotiation skills with Aluguers. Evaristo also gave us very good contacts via which we could organize excursions for a boat tour or for snorkeling directly from Salamanca.

The house is large and spacious, very well located and with a wonderful beach view. Because of its location, access to the beach directly and is only 5m walk from the center of the village.

The accommodation was a great fit for us. The villa is very well decorated and generously sized. Having a rental car was an advantage for us. Wayne and his deputy José are thoughtful and committed hosts.

We had a wonderful weeks stay in Santa Maria. Lorraine’s place was fabulous with everything we needed. Walking distance to shops & lots of restaurants. The pool was lovely and right on the beach too & staff at the complex helpful & friendly. Lorraine did a great job in giving us all the checkin details clearly & many recommendations where to eat. Hopefully we will return next year.

The apartment is very well located. It is in close proximity to all restaurants and shops. The apartment matches the photos and description. It's functional and very clean. The rooms are air conditioned and the beds are so comfortable. We would recommend the apartment to friends and family and would definitely stay there again.

Marco was exceptionally active in solving problems and answering questions to make the most of Isla do Sal. Functional accommodation as I wanted it..... away from the chaos but close to the center. Great experience. Thanks. Obrigada !!!

Fantastic apartment and location! Right on the beach, quiet area 5mins walk from the walking streets. Everything you need and more. Little tip, moka pot is provided but bring your own espresso, different style of coffee on the islands, very good too. Carla is great, always available and open to suggestions, perfect host. I'm suggesting this place to all my friends and will be back next spring. Thanks Carla!

Great Accommodation at Stella Maris! Location was excellent as well as the room, infinity pool and their private beach cove! 10min walk to beautiful Baxonha beach. Francisco was prompt and very attentive in replying to my messages. Would highly recommend, and definitely comeback!

Nice and clean apt. Close to 2 pools. Good resturants close by. We did not have remotecontrol for the aircondition, but this was fixed in a day or two. We would like to come back in the future.

Super great place, just outside the tourist trouble in Santa Maria, but in picturesque Palmeira with good restaurants and lots of culture! Fabio informed us early on how to get into the place and gave us clear instructions, he was also so nice and helped us with the problem of storing our luggage until our later stay! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed!
