Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Cabo Verde

A great place to stay for a few days in Mindelo! We felt so comfortable: with great spots on the many terraces, with a room that was wonderfully airy through two doors and with a very pleasant atmosphere, also by the sweete crew on site. Highly recommended!

Highlights: Unusual and exotic place. The staff is very careful for you. Breakfast is included and very good and varied. The view of the ocean is breathtaking! The evening meal is great and hearty! Things to improve: The address you provided is incorrect. We went to Ponta do sol as indicated on the listing while the place is in Cruzinha. Without a response from the host, we found thanks to Booking and locals in Ponta do Sol who were very nice and helpful. The pool is not sufficiently maintained but the owner has ordered all the necessary equipment (pumps...) to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Inquire before. Guests were still swimming. The owner is very nice. Please note that there have been 2 listings on Airbnb with 2 different rates.

Suelly & Ildo are the best hosts you will find on air bnb. They are most helpful, clear, and super fast in their communication. We were there during Christmas day and got invited into their home and private life because "nobody should be alone on Christmas" that's the amazing kind of people they are. The accommodation is easy accessed and in a nice neighbourhood with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend and return!

The location of the accommodation is extremely peaceful, it is at the moment difficult to find and access but soon there will be a road and lighting. Nathalia was very attentive and breakfasts delicious.

Sissi and her family accommodated us with a welcoming smile. The room has an adjacent bathroom and a breakfast was included in the price. We were given local recommendations. Perfect starting point (or stopping point) for the Fountainhas - Cruzinha coastal hiking route. Good local restaurants with life music.

This is the perfect place for hiking in the area ! Helder welcomed us with open arms: local tips and good breakfasts. He even organized for a bus to take us back to the ferry. The location is great: you can walk to Ribeira Grande center in 5 minutes, for the restaurant and markets. This is also the place where you can catch the public buses for the hiking spots.

Amazing experience, thanks in large part to the property's tenante: Paula! The house is beautiful, very well located, inexpensive compared to the rest of the island. Breakfast is excellent. Paula speaks multiple languages and knows the island like her own. She will give you all the best plans to eat and keep you busy. I can only recommend highly enough.

The chapel is a unique building which with the adjacent fairytale tower and green garden form a real gem to stay in. The extensive breakfast can be found on a nice terrace overlooking the sea. There is a possibility to choose a 3-course dinner, which as well as the breakfast is very tasty and is prepared with love by the 2 ladies present. In the village, which is within walking distance, there is a good restaurant (recommended: beefie!) and next to the church there is a very nice lady with a bar. The beaches are unspoilt, and not overrun by tourists. The chapel is a few ten meters away from a beach where you can swim well. The people on the island are very welcoming, you will be greeted everywhere. In the capital you can rent a quad bike, very nice to discover the island with it. Sabine has created a paradise place where we would like to come back!

We had a lovely stay. The owner Raquel was not present but the Cape Verdean staff were friendly and very welcoming, always ready to help when needed. The rooms are comfortable, the garden is wonderful. We highly recommend this property.

Sabina and Walter are wonderful hosts. The Tower was absolutely beautiful and we relaxed everyday, enjoying a delicious evening meal and breakfast on the gorgeous patio under the palm trees with a view of the sea and sunsets. We were sad to leave! Sabina and Walter went over and above the role of host and helped us with transport issues which we really appreciated. We would totally recommend a stay in the Tower. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Room with large balcony. The bathroom was not in our room but right around the corner and just for us. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were all very friendly :)
