Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cabo Corrientes

We had a wonderful time in Yelapa in this beautiful home! James was incredibly responsive and helped us with anything we needed. The views were breathtaking and the house was perfectly located. Yelapa was the perfect place for us to spend the week with our two toddlers. Lots of places to explore, animals to see and great food to eat. It was a dream vacation!

Beautiful large two bedroom with all the amenities. Large rooftop deck, two block walk to beach and restaurants. Just across the river from the Animas River trail. Be aware there is a flight of stairs to access the unit and another flight to access the rooftop deck. The host Kiri was extremely responsive before we arrived and when we were there. She is on site and greeted us upon checking in and helped with our luggage, arranged for taxi service back to the airport and provided excellent directions. Highly recommend!

My husband, two daughters (9 & 11), and I had the most relaxing 6 days at Dos Hermanos. The views from the house are incredible! We saw humpback whales breaching from the varanda while playing Uno. Marc and Michelle are so friendly and helpful. Marc’s sister, Sarah, was on an extended stay as well and was incredible. She even took my older daughter to the local middle school to teach English to the kids which was one of my daughter’s highlight of her trip. Maria cooked us dinner twice and I highly recommend it, some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The locals are friendly and welcoming and so happy to have visitors there. We had the beach to ourselves and swam and relaxed under the trees. We felt so safe that our girls went on daily walks to play with the street dogs and get ice cream while we stayed and read books on the varanda. Basically, this is a perfect trip if you want to relax. My only tip is to bring your own coffee bc the 2 stores only had instant coffee.

We loved our stay in Yelapa! Waking up each morning and watching the sunset each night with the view of the river and ocean was amazing. The outside living room area was a relaxing spot to be. The caretakers live on the first floor and were very kind and attentive if we needed them.

If you were looking for a really remote place with incredible views, this is your spot. As there are no cars in Yelapa, you’ll have to do a pretty decent hike to the property. It was a very cool experience though and the hosts provided some great support during our stay.

Such a fun place to stay. My kids loved it and we were all comfortable (2 adults, 2 tweens). If you want squeaky clean, this is not your place. It's one with the natural surroundings. Skunks, cats, dogs, lizards all wander the property (which we liked). The beach area in front of the house isn't really swimmable, but the view is gorgeous. Yelapa is a sweet little town with a healthy mix of locals and expats. Plenty to do for a week, as long as a good portion of that involves true chilling. Bob is a lovely gentleman who genuinely cared about checking in and communicating. He loaned us kayaks and freely shared his extensive knowledge of the town, the restaurants, and introducing us to several of the kind people of Yelapa.

El alojamiento es mucha más acogedor y bello en persona! En verdad es muy acogedor y la vibra súper relajada! Un poco de ruido de las cuatro motos que pasan por la calle, pero todos los alojamientos que están dentro del pueblo de yelapa sufren de esto, pero no es molesto realmente! El lugar está de maravilla! Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Un lugar totalmente remoto, el único acceso es por lancha, eso le da un toque totalmente diferente. La villa esta en buenas condiciones es cómoda, cuenta con todo lo necesario, tienes la comodidad de elaborar tus alimentos, en el pueblo encuentras casi de todo, nuestra experiencia fue muy relajante, el pueblo de Quimixto es muy tranquilo. Alejandra siempre estuvo al pendiente, muy amable, me dió instrucciones de como llegar aunque al principio si nos costó un poco encontrar el alojamiento, quizás solo le falta eso; un poco más de señalamientos para poder llegar o ubicar la villa fácilmente, en general nuestra estancia fue muy agradable y tranquila sin detalles algunos regresaría de nuevo!

Family below apartment were very helpful as they allowed us to leave our luggage with them before taking water taxi back to PV Condo was comfortable, colorful and close to all interesting spots!

Brianna’s apartment was lovely. Perfect for visiting the beach in yelapa and a quick 15 minute walk to town and the restaurants. The water pressure in the shower was quite low but I would assume that is normal for the area. We had a great stay!

The place was exactly as advertised. Close to everything with an incredible view! AC worked well & the bed was comfortable. There’s many stairs to walk up and it can be a bit loud since you’re right in town. I highly recommend Casa Romina!

Great place to stay a few nights to get a feel for Yelapa life. The rooster sounds are no joke, I had to wear ear plugs to get good sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at Miramar, specifically in Estrella de Mar. The host was extremely responsive, we received assistance with our luggage at the pier, and the room and amenities were exactly as described. We loved the patio and view of the ocean. The host provided a lot of wonderful recommendations for restaurants (all of which were great, the food is profoundly good in Yelapa). Everything was even more beautiful than described, and we returned home recharged. We will 100% return!

Israel and Erika were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming and very thoughtful. We have stayed in Mayto for several years and never rented a place with a kitchen, much less a beautiful kitchen like this one! This was a huge plus for us: having a place to cook fish my husband caught on the beach was fantastic. We also loved the very comfortable bed, the view of the ocean, and the proximity to the gorgeous Mayto beach (just a quick walk down the hill!). We were impressed with the Internet speeds in the middle of nowhere! We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave. In fact we accidentally almost stayed an extra night (mix up with our calendar) and Israel was totally gracious about our mistake. This is a really nice house for a rural area!

This is the most wonderful place to stay!! It’s in a small town with the friendliest happiest locals — very authentic and non-touristy. The surroundings are gorgeous and Christopher and Benito have the most beautiful place with wonderful harbor and ocean views. Not only that, but there are many options for sitting and viewing the water and surrounding hills, plants and trees. There is a large deck with many seating options and a table for Al fresco dining. There are also other nice lounge chairs with great views set around the property. The house has everything one could possibly need, and there are good options for local dining as well as fresh meat, fish, and shrimp for cooking at home. The local market is small, but seemed to always have what we wanted. The hosts are pretty much the nicest people you will ever meet and were great with local suggestions and help. And if you are a hiker you will love this place … the most amazing trail down the coast is right out the door!

We had an amazing 4 nights in Yelapa. After exploring the area and the town we were even happier about choosing MiraMar. The central location was perfect for us. You could find more secluded places if that’s your goal, but we enjoyed experiencing the local scene plus enjoyed the fresh breeze and ocean sounds. The unit was great.. had all the necessities. Their roof top patio has breathtaking views! We enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the fisherman and families.

Always a great stay at MiraMar. Beautiful, tranquil setting. Lots of personal touches. Nice to have the honor bar upstairs for days when you don't feel like walking over to the market. Central but peaceful.
