Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Butterworth

I'd give more than five stars if AirBnB would let me. We felt really at home, and would unequivocally recommend the place. Siew Lin is an amazing host, flexible, helpful. The place is great. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures; there are two fully-fitted bathrooms, each with a shower; a great kitchen that is fully equipped; washing machine and a drying rack on the beautiful balcony; everything to feel like home... The location is also perfect. In the building complex there's a fully-stocked supermarket (downstairs and across a covered walkway, 3 minutes door-to-door), great restaurants, a beautiful pool that is always empty, a gym, great surroundings... We also like the geography in the city, nestled (somehow extremely quietly) between Georgetown and Tanjung Bungah!

Our family enjoyed the 9-night stay in this nice, clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped Airbnb in a great location with many nearby eateries and with easy access to the beach. We were given clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Despite the heat outside, the apartment became our paradise as we entered it. It has beautiful hill views from the sitting room and bedroom. Watching different birds from the sitting room and monitor lizards in the small drainage below the windows at different times of the day was an enjoyment.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hosts are very helpful and responsive. They tried their best to resolve all issues timely. Really appreciate the help and responsiveness. A great and comfy place to stay for the 9 of us.

「ペナン島で暮らすように過ごしたい！」という私の願望を叶えてくれた部屋で大満足しています。部屋からはヨットハーバーが目の前に見えます。スーパーも近く、食料品から日用品まで揃います。ワインショップも近いです。レストランも沢山あります。Grabを呼ぶのにも便利で毎日利用して出かけました。ペナンは暑くて汗を沢山かくので洗濯が毎日できたことはとても助かりました。 プールでも泳ぎ気持ち良かったです。夜は下のレストランから歌が聴こえたりしますが私はうるさくて困るというほどではなかったです。(感じ方は人それぞれだと思いますが…) Ooiさんに何か質問をするとすぐに返事がきて対応してもらえ安心して過ごすことができました。セキュリティの面でもしっかりしているコンドミニアムだと思います。 コンロは使えなかったので部屋ではお湯を沸かしてお茶を飲んだり果物を買ってきて食べました。屋台グルメ天国のペナンでは部屋で調理しなくても良かったのでコンロが使えなくても全く困りませんでした。 ペナンでの快適なお部屋を貸していただきありがとうございました。また再訪したい場所です。

My kids really love Sam's place especially their kids room - it comes in a tent, plenty of soft toys and Crayon (japanese cartoon character) paintings and figurines, miffy figurine so making it very homey and cutesy. It is very difficult to get them to leave the house which is a great sign. As a mom with 2 kids, I found the kitchen is well equipped with microwave, over, stove, water filter and utensils which make life easier to warm up food and feed the kiddos simple breakfast in the morning. The rooftop jacuzzi, sauna and pool with Penang bridge view is definitely a great attraction on its own with the kiddos and the washing machine can help to drain their clothes much faster for the next swim. The flat is a corner flat with amazing city-view which my kids can't get enough with. The flat is flawless in design and chic, which I completely love. Definitely back for more. Sam is also a local expert and don't hesitate to get his POV for great foods.

A great apartment in a great location. The apartment quickly became our home away from home for our three week stay. We loved sitting out on the spacious verandah in the afternoons after a swim. The couple of maintenance issues we found on entry were addressed very quickly by Asmah and Hazwan. A WiFi/video issue crept in later in our stay, but we just watched less TV. The complex and its surroundings made walking a pleasure. We loved the 10min walk around the foreshore to get groceries at the nearby Lotus supermarket. A 2 ringgit airconditioned bus trip into Georgetown could be hailed immediately out side the complex. Our only disappointment during our stay had nothing to do with the apartment. To its credit the marina complex had many fine restaurants, albeit with menus that could be found in any city in the world, but as an ex Penangite my wife (and I) were disappointed with the complete lack of nearby hawker food stalls, which Penang is famous for.

Suet Eng is such a great host. He is truly pleasant to deal with. He is understanding and consideration. I rented 2 units and both were clean and well equipped with kids friendly items. We are truly appreciated his help and definitely will come back.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement à Penang. L’endroit est très bien décoré, propre et parfaitement conforme aux photos. La récupération et la remise des clés étaient simples et bien organisées. La communication avec l’hôte a été fluide, il répond très rapidement à toutes les questions. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la piscine et les espaces communs, très agréables. Nous étions trois et tout s’est très bien passé. Je recommande sans hésiter !

the location was in the heart of george town and a drivable distance to many cafes and places of interests nearby. checking in process was smooth and the accommodation itself was clean, cozy. the views from the living room overlooks the sea and mainland malaysia and we had a great stay at Jesslyn’s place.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay and the place was amazing. Superb value for money and the host was very helpful and response to my queries promptly. Clear instructions were given for check-in and check-out. Overall we loved this homestay and my kids really enjoyed the infinity pool. We definitely will be back again!

Nice booking and indoor amenities (like living room entertainment, cutlery, plates etc.) for a larger group, has a nice view of the ocean and interesting shopping areas/grocer nearby for convenience. The host was responsive and attentive to questions we had during check-in and the stay. We enjoyed the stay 🌷

Had some issue with our previous airbnb and had to book another stay last minute. Was able to secure the booking with Dena and check in immediately. Dena and her team were very efficient and responsive. We checked in smoothly with them and we would definitely have another stay with them ☺️ highly recommend their unit as they views are good, sheet & toilet are clean and their unit is super cosy!

The house is nicely furnished in my opinion and good for big group gatherings. Many bed rooms available with a mix of single and double beds which are quite comfortable. And apart from the living room, there are other areas that friends/family can huddle around, both indoors and outdoors. All the basic amneties are provided and work fine. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive, providing prompt response and help when needed. The only downside I feel is the narrow road and insufficient parking. It's convinient if you have 3 cars (or 4 if you park one right in front of the gate). Anything more and you need to park further... and the nearby Sunny Point complex is an option, but you need a 3-5 minute walk back to the property. Also, food choices within walking distance is limited to a few Malay food stalls. Overall, it was good value in my opinion... just be mindful if you are travelling with many cars, then it might not be the best choice.
