We loved our peaceful stay at Kari’s Airbnb. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the raptors, soaking in the hot tub, and making snores over the fire pit. Can’t wait to come back!

The Trout Creek Cabin was such a magical place! Nestled along a serene creek off a quiet country road about 20 min from Lanesboro, we loved our morning coffee on the deck enjoying the multitude of songbirds. The cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend to escape the noise of people and fully relax in nature, but with comfy amenities and a glorious whirlpool under the stars! Suzette, Andrew, & Mindy thought of all the personal touches from a nice coffee/tea assortment, a bottle of wine, bathrobes, spongy slippers, little label signs - and much more! We loved the design and colors of the house throughout, and a lovely deck to take in all the nature! Day trips to Lanesboro were not a long drive as the countryside is spectacular, just takes about 20 mins. We hope to be back and maybe we’ll bring our son next time.

We loved this property!! We appreciated being able to bring our pups with us and enjoy the scenery!! We absolutely loved the hot tub and to be able to enjoy the sunset from the porch. Highly recommend this property.

Great location, a nice getaway to relax, plenty of space for bigger families, the pond in the back is wonderful. we enjoyed our time here and hope to come back !

Excellent cozy cabin in the woods! Very private setting feels like your a part of nature, lots of birds and deer around the cabin. Very nice touches around the cabin - high quality beds, sheets, linens, and even blankets. Comfortable couches and chairs inside and outside. Highly recommend!!

100% recommend staying here. I am blown away. First the view is breathtaking, there are so many different spots in the cabin, where you can see the trees , the river and the beautiful pond in the backyard. The cabin itself is gorgeous. The decor, the furniture, the linen, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful . The hot tub was perfect . The beds were very comfortable, so were the couches to lounge on. Everything you could think of in the kitchen ,the linens were soft and cozy. They also provided items that you might have forgotten, like cotton spots, and dental floss. I just cannot get over how beautiful the setting was, if you are debating, staying here I would definitely recommend it. The host is very responsive and quick to reply with any questions or concerns you might ask . And even provided a link for fun things to do around the cabin if you choose to leave which to be honest, I found it very hard to. Will definitely be back.

This cabin is remotely quiet away from cities. It is perfectly getaway to unplug and refresh!

This place is exactly where you want to be, if you want a relaxing and peaceful getaway. It is beautiful inside and out! I think we all agreed we will definitely be returning!

Looking for a relaxing weekend with the family with a ton of potential for memories that last a lifetime? Look no further than this hidden gem in De Soto. I've frequently traveled south craving "southern hospitality", little did I know, just a couple hours north had "Midwestern hospitality"! Justin was very responsive initially when asking about his property, very knowledgeable about surrounding activities as well as great watering holes if you catch my drift. The cabin is decorated perfectly and it immediately makes you take a deep breath and smile knowing that you are home. There is plenty of room for you and your family to stretch out, play games, go fishing off of your own private dock, walk to the Rivers Edge and grab a bite to eat (less than a 5 minute walk), etc. If you've got a boat, bring it!! Don't miss out on the local wineries at your stay either! rate 10/5! Can't wait to return!

We loved our stay! The deck with an amazing view was spectacular and the house has everything we needed.

Everything, as usual, was wonderful. I have stayed here several times and have future stays booked. The cabins are super cozy no matter what time of year. This was an odd stay weather-wise, as the in-floor heat was needed overnight (oh that is the BOMB, especially in winter!) and the a/c in the afternoon was needed sometimes. Either way - easily stayed completely comfortable! I can't say enough good about Andy Mountain. As a lone female traveler, I can attest to how safe and at home you'll feel there. The cabins/campground have a neighborhood feel and everyone is always friendly. It's nice to have your own private space with covered porch, grill, and fire pit right there. Also of note is that there are dishes, silverware etc and a full size fridge so you can do all of your own cooking if you're not going to be out and about. Great stay - best place I've ever stayed and will continue to stay there in the future!

We had a fantastic stay. The instructions for everything were clear and we had no issues. The cabin is cozy and was perfect for our trip. We had kids (4, 6 and 7) who loved the trains going by and would glue themselves to the window each time. We’d absolutely stay again.

7 girls on their 1st ever girls trip to a remote cabin in the woods.... 10/10 recommend! The drive there was beautiful, lots of wildlife to see, even on the property. The cabin is just like the pictures. There are the bare essentials as far as kitchen/bathroom supplies, but this isn't the ritz, its a cabin. There is quite the eclectic taste of knick knacks everywhere throughout the cabin. It was fun fiding different treasures througout the weekend and even sometimes comical. We unfortunately were not able to use the hot tub because it was being replaced but the hosts worked with us on ways to compensate us to make up for it. I've never met Charity but after having one conversation with her on the phone, she felt like my best friend after! We enjoyed reading, walks, plenty of games, Bob Ross paintings on the patio and laughing until we were crying. We only had one close encounter with a rabbit upon our arrival but we all fared well in the end! We will definitely be trying to come back!

We had a great time exploring the area and relaxing in this lovely cabin. As other reviewers have said, communication with the hosts was great and they are very accommodating. The cabin is extremely clean and everything provided reflects good taste and quality, especially compared to most other places where we’ve stayed. It was very peaceful to watch and listen to the many birds, and although the occasional car could disturb the peace during the day, it was not an issue for sleeping. In case this is informative for others, the bed mattress is on the soft side and the bathroom is located right next to the kitchen. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to explore the area.

Cocorico Cabin was off the beaten path, which is what we were looking for. We could sit on the deck and listen to the multitude of birds and watch deer and turkeys from the front porch. It was the perfect base to explore the Mississippi River Valley. Our dog loved her morning walks down the driveway to enjoy the sunrise.

What a peaceful beautiful setting! Cozy little cabin in the heart of the Driftless Region. The crystal clear trout stream in the back yard was just as beautiful as all the stars you can see at night! We would recommend this place to friends and family. We'll be back!!

This was probably our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed at!! It is so perfect and packed with everything you need. The location is a dream if you want to be out of the city but don’t feel like tent camping. We drove only like 5 minutes away for our kayak trip, and since it was so far out of town we were the only ones on it!! There was also very little bugs or anything to cause concern. We will 100% be booking this place again. (Probably again this summer!!) it was SO EXCELLENT!! No plumbing, no problem!! Thank you so much for the excellent stay!

Fantastic listing! location is private and beautiful. the views are amazing. Stocked with every amenity you could possibly need! very cozy and easy to settle in. 20min from Blackhawk county Park, 40min from Viroqua, right off beautiful scenic 35 going along the Mississippi!

Had a wonderful stay at Kevin’s cabin. We were able to bring our dog and enjoyed taking walks on the property and sitting on the screened in back porch. Kitchen was fully stocked and the house had been freshly cleaned. Had a nice visit with Kevin when he stopped in to say hello to make sure we had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again in the future!

We had a very nice stay- and we loved our view from our deck overlooking the Mississippi. It was not too far from Lacrosse so we could go hiking there for the day or go to Prairie du chien for golf or shopping.

Cozy and comfortable! The proximity to Decorah is perfect. We had our privacy, yet were close enough to town if we needed anything. Our purpose for the visit was fly fishing, and there are plenty of streams that are easily accessible within a few miles of the cabin. The hosts are friendly and very responsive to questions, and they provided us with suggestions for dining and sightseeing. I left my CPAP behind, and they were kind enough to mail it to my home, which I greatly appreciate!
