Family-friendly vacation rentals in Burlington

Absolutely perfect house for the bachelorette party of 10 girls!! It was clean, cozy, spacious, and close to all Stowe has to offer! It slept all 10 adults very comfortably, the fireplace in the living room was lovely, the front porch was so comfortable and a great spot to gather on while some were in the hot tub! Massive driveway, plenty of parking, house was fully stocked with towels and kitchen appliances. We got a ton of snow while we were there and Ryan shoveled our porch and plowed the driveway! The decor and lights throughout the space were beautiful, so welcoming and inviting. We had the best weekend and can’t wait to come back!

The place was everything we expected and more! Lynn was super nice and helpful, we informed her that we were running early and she let us check in to the Airbnb 40 minutes early. We loved having all that space to explore with the dogs. It truly was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. I would love to come back in the fall!

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was! Fenced in yard. Blankets to cover the furniture to allow dogs on them. Close enough to many different ski mountains. Perfect to come home to the wood stove and hot tub.

Beautiful home, as described. Nice personal touches with towels and mini shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is large and has most every appliance you would want. Caretaker does come in twice per day but is friendly and unobtrusive. You do need AWD/4WD to access the house.

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

Sugarbush Ski House Our stay at this besutiful Airbnb ski house in Sugarbush, Vermont, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious, modern design and the thoughtful details that made this home a great place for a family trip. The house has nice open floor plan with great views both from in the house and a large deck on the outside. The living room was very comfortable with space for all including two dogs. The kitchen is modern and has great appliances, supplies, and prep area. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The other amenities were top-notch. The sauna and hot tub were absolute luxuries after a long day on the slopes, providing the ultimate relaxation experience. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort and ease of our stay. If you’re planning a trip to Sugarbush, this house is not to be missed. Definitely a five star house!!

Home away from home! Susan was a fantastic host. She was very responsive and communicated quickly. This home was perfect for our group of 6 and it was extremely cozy! This was our first time in Vermont and it definitely exceeded all of our expectations. If you looking for a pleasant place to stay with amazing views, look no further than this adorable Airbnb! We skied in Stowe, toured the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory down the road and enjoyed some live music at the ZenBarn. I would highly recommend this property! We hope to visit again soon :)

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

This is an ideal spot for a winter getaway, and Matt goes above and beyond to provide guests with the best possible experience. During the day, we enjoyed snowshoeing and sledding on the property. At night, the stars truly amazed us. We also enjoyed the cozy fire in the wood stove…a very nice thing for the cold temps we were having. The house is well stocked and beds are comfortable. We are so grateful for the few days we spent recharging at Skip’s Place.

Bjorn’s home is pristine and could not be nestled in a more beautiful place. He was very responsive and the house is well supplied with everything you could need. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!!

This cozy farmhouse was the perfect place for friends to gather. We came as 7 friends to ski at Bolton Valley which is just down the road. The skiing was great but the highlight was the time spent at home. We gathered in the sitting room with great light coming in from the back yard for aps and conversation and games. All of the glass allowed us to watch the snowfall as well. We moved to the lovely dining room table for dinner - which was so easy to prepare in the ample and spacious kitchen. Post dinner we moved to the cozy living room by the fire. All of the bedrooms were comfortable with great linens. The bathroom upstairs was efficient, small but totally functional. It even had a washer and dryer. We all agreed that this place was one of the most comfortable rentals we've ever been in. Thanks Tyler and Jenni!

Fantastic little place close to Middlebury college. Julia’s cottage was cute and cozy. My boyfriend and I only needed one night because of our travel plans but we would have loved a longer stay. Next time! Julia was a great host with thoughtful touches like snacks and fruit and toiletries waiting for us. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great house and location was easy to get to, close to airport, and events.

We stayed at Ed’s place for a whole week to ski beautiful Stowe mountain resort. Very peaceful and private at the end of the day after skiing all day. Grocery store (Shaw’s) and gas station within 5 min drive. The cabin style house is actually bigger than the pictures suggest. Everything was as per the listing. Really set up for a ski holiday with lots of drying racks and ski storage. The place was super clean and very comfortable. We will definitely book again. Waterbury is a better location to stage out of than Stowe village. Don’t miss dinner at the Prohibition Pig - outstanding pub!!

This airbnb experience was our very best. Deb has put so much love and care into being a host. Her cozy home lacks nothing one might need while visiting. We visited during a winter storm and Deb kept us up-to-date on weather and what to expect downtown as well as restaurant and area information. Deb was by far the best host we have encountered and truly exemplifies what it means to be an airbnb host!

Great place to stay for a few days in Burlington! Close to downtown, tons of restaurants and things to do. The apartment just what we needed.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the home and hosts were both impeccable. The home is jusy like the pictures- the quintessential ski condo. It is incredibly comfortable- the big beds were both luxuriously comfortable and all the other appointments were as well. The kitchen is incredibly well appointed for meals. We mostly did quick/easy meals. But, it would have been a joy to cook in the kitchen. Most importantly for us, the condo is GREAT for kids and families. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay with kids, including a high chair, crib and pack n play. The Topnotch resort and amenities are also aptly named - they are truly top notch! Last but certainly not least, Stowe resort homes was a fabulous host. They were incredibly proactive and responsive to any questions we had. It truly felt like they wanted us to enjoy our stay as much as we did. We enthusiastically recommend this home and host!

It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

Our family had another wonderful stay at the farmhouse. The location was perfect- a 10 minute drive to the ski mountains, a few minutes from Flatbread...close to everywhere we went. The house was clean and welcoming and our experience was great. We are looking forward to coming back in a few months!

This is a great house to stay in. There's a lot of space, places to sleep, sit and relax, eat, watch tv, play games, work, read, cook. Plenty of hot water.. Very private, although in a neighborhood. Nice back yard area when not covered in snow, looking up at the mountains behind. Sheri is top notch. Easy to reach, super friendly and helpful, easy going. We came at the tail end of a snow storm, but the driveway was cleared enough to get our car in and then Sheri worked with us to make sure everything was cleared before we had to go out the next day. Easy walk into the cute town of Bristol. Handful of nice shops (books, games, art, crafts, gifts, toys) and restaurants: Wokky's--ok Chinese/great staff; Minifactory--out of sight coffee/biscuits/sandwiches/fresh ingredients/lot of gluten free; Cubber's--locals' joint/excellent pizza/sandwiches; Farmhouse Chocolates--superb fresh organic truffles, bars, caramels/chocolatier is wonderful. Easy drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush for skiing.

Ashley is a fantastic host and made our stay so easy. Her home is lovely and beds are comfortable. Instructions for everything were very clear. She was kind enough to accommodate a late check out due to last minute flight changes also!

This was our second trip to the Birches and we would love to return again! Beautiful setting, convenient location right off mountain road, clean and uncluttered (and even fragrance free!), and had everything you need including fun books and games for the family. We love the Birches and Heather is a thoughtful attentive host!

This is an amazing place to stay in Burlington. Easy to park and a good coffee shop nearby. easy to get to downtown and the colleges from here. The upper floor was super cozy!

We visited Helena's Place in Stowe January 3-8 for a Winter Wonderland trip with our daughter, son-in-law, and their three young children. Not only is the home perfect for a family of seven, it's walking distance to the Main Street shops and restaurants as well as an easy drive to several lodges for more fun activities. The home was stocked with lots of meal prep essentials, such as spices and cookware, etc. The bedrooms, living and dining areas are very comfortable. Fortunately, it snowed just prior to our arrival and throughout our stay, so the grandkids (and adults) were able to experience playing in the snow and sledding down the mini hill just outside the back door. We're residents of southeast Georgia, so it was a "first" for the grandkids! We're already contemplating when we can plan our next trip to Stowe and the first home we'll check for availability will be Helena's Place.
