Thrupp is a quiet hamlet only a mile from Stroud town centre. This apartment is an excellent base for enjoying all the delights and amenities of the immediate area and surrounds. Easy access to varied local walks, commons, pubs, the Stroudwater Canal & Stroud, with it's award winning Farmers' Market. It has been lovingly & extensively renovated. All the rooms have amazing views & the kitchen leads onto a terraced garden, with an area to play boules. Dogs welcome, by arrangement please. Access by meet & greet or key safe. The Folly is a detached 19th Century Cotswolds cottage. Newly converted from a farm equipment store, the cottage has an open plan kitchen and sitting room, with TV, Wifi and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Upstairs is a bedroom with vaulted ceiling and ensuite shower room. The Folly is charming, spacious and with underfloor heating and full insulation it is a comfortable and relaxed home from home. We have a 7kW charger with Type2 7-pin plug for charging your Electric Vehicle.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

Free off-street parking. Upstairs, beamed living/bedroom with comfy double bed, Smart TV& WiFi. Downstairs, well equipped kitchen-diner, shower room/toilet. 10-15min walk to Nailsworth centre with many eateries. Unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to stairs/low pitched ceiling.
