Burke Mountain vacation rentals

The cozy cottage was a great base for our trip to the White Mountains. Only 30 minutes from the Woodstock and Lincoln area via a beautiful drive. Mornings sipping coffee on the deck while taking in nature—perfection! Even with the weather being colder and foggy. A bald eagle flew right by the deck our first morning and it was stunning. It is a more rustic place, designed to unplug from technology, so just be prepared; it was exactly what we needed though. We loved our visit and would stay again!

Don't hesitate - book the Selma cottage now, you won't regret it! Cozy, clean, and close to area attractions. We so enjoyed our time in the loft playing various board games with our children and cozying up next to the electric stove after a day of ski. Looking forward to returning again soon! Our hosts were responsive and extremely helpful - what a treat to spend a weekend away at this gem of a cottage in Whitefield, NH!

Our second time staying at the cabin- this time was a winter wonderland! All the amenities, including the cozy fire, were perfect for our last getaway as a family of 3. We wandered in the snow, enjoyed the peaceful freezing brook, journeyed on the Polar Express with our toddler, and stayed hunkered down with puzzles, games, cooking and Christmas movies. Nancy and Stephen were super responsive, accommodating, and holiday decorations did not disappoint. We will be back again! Merry Christmas!

Darren is a great host, and this is a great place! He had plenty of great recommendations in the area, so we always had something to do. The lake itself is super pretty and very tranquil. Would highly recommend!

Overall this was a great stay!! Was a little tough to find because there were no numbers on the road or the house. Hot tub was incredible and the house was far from neighbors, which felt nice and private. Heat was a little confusing to figure out but once we got it going it was great! Would definitely stay here again!! If staying in winter I recommend having cars that have AWD or four wheel drive because while the roads were plowed they were still covered in snow.

Unbelievable location! 10-20 minutes from almost anything you could want to do in the area. Easy check in experience and detailed instructions! Upon arrival we were ecstatic with the size of living room area!

This is such a great little place, with all the amenities of home. You can tell so much thought and care has gone into it. Nice and close to downtown, but on a private, quiet lot. I will absolutely stay here again.

This was an amazing place to stay while enjoying the fall weather in Vermont. The location was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and across the road from the Connecticut River. Waterford itself doesn’t have much going on (which I liked!) but St. Johnsbury and Littleton are within 15-20min and have everything you need. The house was beautifully updated with all amenities needed for a comfortable autumn week, including a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry machines, fireplace, and a lovely screened porch + front deck to enjoy the weather. The bedrooms were comfortable and bright, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask since the windows didn’t have curtains. I loved the member-only area - it was worth the extra cost for the river access with private beach and boats/SUPs. I only went on my final day, but I wish I had spent every evening down on the dock by the river to watch the sunset! Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet
