Very warm welcome from Igor’s family, wonderful location, and a very comfy and well equipped house! We also really enjoyed going for a canoe adventure on the lake using Igor’s boat! Highly recommend!

As other reviews have mentioned, Gasper was a great host! He had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Shkoder. We also spoke with his father, who was very helpful and kind. The location was very good and Shkoder itself is very walkable. The apartment was very clean and felt homey. We loved that this Airbnb had unique decorations and history for the family.

incredible place! so well located - a relaxed village only a 10 min walk away from the lake and all the restaurants. milo was so so helpful and friendly and was very easy to get in touch with during our stay. incredible view from the pool too!!! would definitely stay again

Absolutely amazing AirBnB! Beautiful location, easy to find with good direction by some very responisve hosts. We had some additional request and the host was very accomodating. We got to enjoy the barbeque, some lovely local wines and the amazing view. Honestly could not recommend this airbnb enough! It was an amazing experience. And then with such a low price it is an absolute steal!

Beautiful scenery. There were a couple of other cabins next to ours however we had the place to ourselves which made it extra peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying if you are in the area and like to book Airbnbs with good views like me. Shout out to Andjela for being responsive on whats app

Dodosi is a beautiful place to visit. Drive around lake Skadar you will see stunning scenery. The village is small so not a vast amount to do, so plan stuff, a trip on a boat around the lake, a visit to Niagara falls, a wine tasting experience, is what we did. Equally if you want peace n quiet then look no further. The wildlife is pretty spectacular as well, birds on the lake, a rarity in seeing a pelican, a few tortoise roaming around, snakes. Add to that cows, horses, sheep, donkies all seem to be in and out and around the village. This rustic way of life, for us was fantastic. So don't expect all the whistles and bells of a 5 star hotel, it is very rustic and a little step back into time. There are a couple of drinking places in Dodosi, one as you come into Dodosi and the other next to the river, this one serves food and we had lunch there and it was lovely, a note here only open weekends when in early season. The road getting to Dodosi can be a little tricky as it's very small.

Really nice spacious and modern appartment. Great shower. Confortable bed. Host very quick to respond to queries. The only thing that can be an issue is the lack of lift, is 4 floors by stairs, we didn't mind but it can be challenging. That being said, highly recommended.

Many thanks to Gano for a lovely, warm welcome after our delayed flight. A pleasant bonus was the offer of a lift to the local supermarket to collect basic supplies. The apartment location is ideal as only 30 mins from airport with outstanding views. The view was our main reason for booking. The apartment has all necessary utensils etc although we ate out mostly. The Air Con unit was effective but only used 2 days as weather turned cold and stormy. There are a few bars and restaurants in walking distance - and only €8 via Uber to Old Town. A perfect location for a relaxing break with a very helpful host. Thank you both for a lovely stay at Beach House.

Daniel made it easy for us to check in early. The house was very clean and in a beautiful location as in the photos, everything was available in the area, since the walking distance to the bazaar is about 4-5 minutes, you can leave your car in the parking lot and walk around easily. Thanks for everything, Daniel.

We stayed in the apartment for four nights and had a great experience overall. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach, just a few steps from the sea, with a stunning view from the balcony. The apartment was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and nicely decorated. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. The only downside was that the apartment is on the third floor, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. This might be important for guests who have difficulty with stairs, as there is no elevator. Aside from that, everything was excellent. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!

We said with Darko for only 1-night but wished we could have said longer! Whilst the apartment itself is very traditionally furnished (as per the photos) the location and views are truly something out of a National Geographic magazine; We spent a number of hours just enjoying a drink and admiring the views from the terrace. We were extremely well looked after; Darko's mum cooked us a fantastic evening meal and Darko's Dad acted as tour guide the following morning taking us out on the lake in his boat and talking to us about the waterways and the region in general; A real pleasure. The tiny village of Karuc is off the beaten track but certainly worth the effort of visiting and a stay with Darko and his family was a definite highlight of our time in Montenegro; Totally recommend!

Hands down one of the best places we've stayed, across Europe let alone in North Macedonia. The views are exceptional, it's really hard to take in how beautiful the place is. The location was so peaceful, literally right in front of the lake. About 3 minutes drive up the road is a local shop where you can get a surprising amount of items. The apartment is massive, the beds are super comfortable and the rooms are huge. The apartment has massive open spaces and extends out the back into a seating area which is insane. The seating area has couches, views of the forest and a place to make BBQ. The host was so so nice, we loved her. She brought us Macedonian coffee when we arrived and it was amazing. She is extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, don't hesitate, book it now. P.S. we have two kids, a 4 year old and a 1 year old and the place was ideal for them, huge spaces to run around.

This is a fantastic apartment extremely modern inside with great features. The location is perfect for durmitor national park and close to local amenities restaurants, supermarkets etc….the apartment is in a peaceful location so sleep is very easy. Check in was effortless and communication from the host was very efficient and quick. I would definately stay in the apartment again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Just what we were searching for, a haven of tranquility. The hosts were delightful, Razu in particular was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay regarding information and supplied us with an array of fantastic meals. We didn't want for anything. There were plenty of things to see and do within a short car journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Amphora. As most of the other reviews state, it is a truly unique experience. Regarding the one negative review on the website; all I can say is I really don't understand what they found so disagreeable.

It is amazing modern village life experience. Houseowner is wonderful and will do everything to make you feel at home. He is always ready to help you with anything and he is very friendly.

Well-kept wooden cottage on a secondary branch of the river. Close to the beach and the main restaurants.... Lovely atmosphere... We had a great time

The cottage is located in a true paradise, surrounded by mountains and lots of greenery. A rippling stream flows right in front of the house. We got instructional videos of how to get there. Arrived there was beer and wine cold. The neighbor came to say hello, unfortunately we couldn't understand each other. Still, this was a friendly contact, where we got a bag of walnuts even upon departure. Contact with the owner was about the app, but this was fine, everything was easy to find in the cottage. Which was also equipped with shower products, ample amount of towels, laundry detergent and a kitchen stocked with herbs and oil and even a dishwasher. We had a lovely stay. Perfect location for trips to Durmitor national park, the Tara Gorge and Biogradska Gora. The water heater is not very large, we couldn't all shower with each other. But if you keep that in mind, that's no problem. Should we come back to Montenegro, I would love to stay here again.

My family and I loved our stay in Lake Cottage with its wonderful setting, spacious, modern and comfortable accommodation and easy access to Shiroke and beyond. We would have loved to have stayed for longer. We highly recommend here.

A beautiful haven of tranquility. We loved Ivan’s place, amazing views from the big windows and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a Montenegrin coffee watching the birds. The stars at night were spectacular. In close proximity to Zabljak but far enough away to have total peace. We enjoyed driving the Durmitor ring, swimming in the black lake and visiting Tara River Canyon for rafting. Durmitor certainly has a piece of our hearts and Ivan’s place was the perfect base to explore.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the house for five days. It was simply amazing! The location is fully immersed in nature. The road to get there is adventurous but doable. Once we arrived we checked in easily and effortlessly. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. From the terrace we could watch the lake and the surrounding nature peacefully while sipping on a delicious tea. We contacted Milica and she was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to spend a calm and relaxing time in Montenegro. Note: to reach the house it is mandatory to have a car (you can rent it at the airport, it's a 40 minute drive)
