Venu was a great host - great energy, very helpful and responsive to all of my changes and requests throughout the stay. Venu helped organise an auto rickshaw driver for me during my stay as well. The accomodation is in a beautiful location, hidden away amongst the banana trees and very peaceful. If you want to get close to nature, then this is the place for you! I loved it, almost like camping, but with a real mattress - I even had a beautiful gecko visit my room! Sadly I visited during the off season so the restaurant wasn’t open, but it looks like a great space.

The place is extremely clean & peaceful and the host is super friendly & responsive. No of utensils are kept to prepare food yourself. I visited the place along with my family & everyone enjoyed the stay. The caretaker is also very helpful & very responsive since he stays inside the premises only. The location is slightly away from tourist attractions so can be tricky with the drivers you have booked since commute time becomes high & self drive options are unavailable within the city.

The stay was good and peaceful. The owner is very helpful and humble. They even accommodated my request for early check-in. The caretaker, Anil, was very friendly and eager to help. I'm gonna suggest the property to all my friends and relatives who will visit Hampi.

Independent studio for an experiential Hampi stay

We've just returned from spending holi in Hampi. We really enjoyed our stay at Gautam's place. It is in the historic village of Anegundi. It is very tastefully done with lots of lovely wood work and stone floors. Nagraj, the manager, is awesome. He is extremely helpful - delivering delicious breakfast and lunch as requested, providing good recommendations for taxi and auto drivers, and passing on his excellent local knowledge. It's perfect for couples or 2-3 friends.

“Studio room near HAMPI”

I just loved this place as it was clean, Hygiene and with beautiful surrounding. It was just as shown and described in the pictures in App. The very best thing is, it is just a walkable distance from the divine temple and very near to the historical Hampi. And you have all the food services like Swiggy and Zomato.. Even though the host was busy in their work, but still with just one message, we got all our work done. Thank you so much for the beautiful hosting, mam . Even loved to play around Snowy. Very friendly dog 🐕 Just worth to the money. No place better than this in the surroundings . Happy and satisfied to stay 😇🥰

Very naturalistic place surrounded with mountains, river, paddy fields, lots of birds, beauty views of sunrise and sunset. 45 mins drive to Hampi attractions. Had some maintenance issues but were addressed timely by both Host and Co-Host as soon as they were reported. Overall it was a good experience.

Hampi in itself is such a magical place & to be able to stay at a walking distance away from some of its major attractions was a treat in itself. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hampi Utsav as well. Location is highly appreciated. Had the opportunity to meet Megha & her father, they were lovely & responsive hosts, the family also runs a small cafe, relished their dosas. Another restaurant down the road provides delicious meals till late in the night. Lastly, the AC was a big relief. It's already turned so hot that we were thankful to be able spend the afternoons inside the room & regain our energy for the evening sight seeing. Thank you & we hope to be back in future!

It was a home away from home. Asha and her father are really sweet people and hosts. Cleanliness, ambience, meals top class. Location of Asha's home stay is within 4-5km radius from Virupaksha temple, Lotus mahal, Stone chariot and other heritage sites. We had a special request of a work from home set up as we were going to be working remotely. Asha made all the possible arrangements without hesitation and was always available for our smallest doubts. We hope to revisit Asha's home stay in future. This place is highly recommend.

This place proved to be a great base to see many of the historic monuments of Hampi. Gangadhara recommended Kiran to drive us around in his tuk-tuk. Very necessary given the spread of sites across a wide area. Kiran was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Both of the local restaurants served good food and were very welcoming. Highly recommended.

The stay was really nice in between the paddy fields and next to banks of Tungabhadra river it was peaceful. Kiran was very responsive and kind. It would be appreciated if they had more bathrooms and restrooms if the stay is full it becomes difficult to cope up with time. Overall it was a good experience

Brise Stables was a lovely, comfortable stay. The host and caretakers were friendly and quick to assist whenever needed. Our dog especially enjoyed exploring the grounds. A great spot for a quiet, pet-friendly getaway!

This is a great place to stay for visiting Hampi. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and the host is very friendly and helpful. He'll provide breakfast and dinner for a small extra charge if you ask, and he can arrange transportation, etc. Some other reviewers have said that the place is noisy. This is true, but it is not the host's fault, and frankly I've never stayed anywhere in India that wasn't noisy. The location is a little inconvenient--New Hampi is a bit isolated and doesn't have a lot of restaurants--but there really aren't any convenient places to stay to visit Hampi. Just be aware that you will need to arrange autorickshaws to get around, even sometimes to eat (which is why it is nice the hosts provide meals if you want). Everything considered, I'm very happy with my choice and would highly recommend.
