Victor has been the perfect host throughout the whole experience: before, during and after my stay. So helpful and discreet at the same time. I loved the personal touches of fresh fruit upon arrival, and even some fresh figs from the garden during my stay. It makes it so personal and thoughtful. The little cottage is perfect in size and equipment, and so well located, just a short stretch of the legs to the amazing beach and lake. It is unbelievably quiet at night, all you hear is the ocean - and the occasional cheeky possum on the roof, but it does not last. Wildlife abounds all around the place. I did not get in my car once in 4 days there - I had plenty of food supplies- and explored the surrounding area or just swam at the beach. It is so raw, so beautiful, so wild… the best place to disconnect from busy life, reconnect with yourself and recharge your batteries. It will stay with me for a long time 🌞

A peaceful, cosy cottage with all the amenities you would ever need for a few days away - and just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of Bawley Point. We loved the hammock on the back deck and games of Scrabble in the evening while enjoying the delicious treats provided.

Bruce’s place is like a gem! Right next to the national park, walkable to 2 amazing beaches, his backyard is spacious and well maintained, we saw kangaroos and parrosts too! The studio itself is small but cosy, has all the essentials. And Bruce is an amazing host! He’s been very responsive since the very beginning, greeted us when we arrive, gave us lots of local recommendations :) I really like the fire pit in the backyard, was a great way to chill at night time. Highly recommend and would love to stay with Bruce again.

Tim and Judy, thank you so much for sharing the most beautiful house / property with us. Amberlea was everything and more. We loved feeding the chooks, hitting golf balls, making wood fired pizza, picking fresh basil and even exploring our artist sides in the artists studio! The most fantastic hosts, everything has been considered from fantastic grounds, comfortable seating areas and all the extras. Thank you for the most magical weekend, we can’t wait to return!
