Rhubarb, the Station House Steam Railway Hut

Rhubarb is a well appointed self-contained shepherd's hut for two. There's an amazingly comfortable king size bed, kitchenette, shower room and flushing toilet. There is central heating so if the evening is chilly you won't be! Situated in the garden of the old Station Master's House at East Somerset Steam Railway Rhubarb is directly adjacent to the station sidings with a wonderful view of the steam trains. We include a complimentary Rover ticket so you can ride for free during your stay!

The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. This little quirky cabin nestled on top of the Mendip Hills is the PERFECT getaway from the everyday hussle and bustle. We built this ourselves and are very proud. The cabin is situated on our Family ran farm and at the top end of our Campsite. The Oakhill Inn is a 10 min walk from the cabin and cook some amazing 5* food including take away pizzas and burgers. With hardly any streetlights around you can enjoy the stars and peace and quiet.

Please note- there is currently some building work going on in the building in an apartment upstairs and in the hallway area (Monday-Friday after 9am). This beautiful refurbished luxury apartment sits on the entire first floor of a Grade II listed 18th century town house. The towering ceilings and grand Georgian features transport you back to the regency era where this floor once served as a grand banqueting hall.
