This was my third stay at Amy’s and won’t be the last. The home is outstanding and the back beach on your doorstep, the town is less than a few minutes away and all you need there. My few days at The Lair was like staying at my own home. The place was pristine, with all the amenities you require. The bed was so comfy ! So peaceful too ! I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Sam for being such a great hostess. Ali

A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

Serendipity is a lovely house with stunning views. Marks has designed and refurbished his house beautifully and very much with his guests in mind. The downstairs is spacious with a very large table so we as a party of nine could sit all together or in separate groups inside and outside. Well done to Mark. He is a very considerate and welcoming host.

Thank you for arranging the beds as we requested. We were extremely comfortable and all slept well. I hope everything was left to your standards. one of the best places we have stayed in hosts are very friendly the den is spotless and well equipped got everything you need and more fantastic value for money definitely go back ten out of ten 😀

A beautiful apartment with genuinely stunning views from the balcony and living room. The amenities are excellent, and the hosts fab!

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

We had an amazing stay at Lesley’s. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do in the local areas. The caravan was spot on, lovely and clean and we were very grateful for the little hamper and milk when we arrived. Everything was clean and tidy and we particularly loved all the fleecy blankets for that extra cosy touch. Thank you Lesley. Would 100% recommend and stay again

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Yet again we had a fantastic break in this great holiday home. This is our third visit and ready to book again for next year (if they will have us ) lol. Keep up the great job in hosting that you both do so well, and thanks again Ted.

We had a lovely family stay at le shack and Danny was a great host and really responsive to messages and questions The accommodation was really clean , well equipped and comfortable. The surrounding areas were beautiful and Cawsands and Kingsands were lovely for sea swimming Would definitely go again! Thank you 😀

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

The cabin had beautiful views with prosecco and scones upon arrival! Everything was very clean and ready for when we arrived. Guest book was available to write in where others have recommended local restaurants and activities aswell as a book Claire had provided with everything we needed to know. Would 100% book again in future and stay for longer. Thank you.

Adrian's place is cosy and peaceful. There's a lovely spot out the back in the garden for breakfast/ cuppa. Adrian was easy to contact and quick to respond to any queries re. the booking. A lovely place to stay to explore Dartington and the surrounding area.

We had such a lovely couple of days here. Perfect hosts welcoming and friendly and our 2 dogs made to feel welcome. Perfect location for us easy access to the moors to explore then return to lovely property in the evening. We love to visit Dartmoor every year and we have now found our perfect retreat we will be back next year as long as you will have us 🙏 Thank you both for lovely couple of days from us both and the 🐶

Lovely stay. A great find, right in the middle of Buckfastleigh so handy for all amenities. Beautifully decorated and arranged. Phil was great with directions and instructions. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back :)

We stayed here for a wedding we attended nearby in Honiton. The location and the space are brilliant and easy to get to. Cosy and clean space. Plenty of amenities and snacks provided which went down a treat after a long evening...! Phillip was a very welcoming host and overall this place is exactly what Airbnb should be.

A much-appreciated return visit. Spacious, well appointed, clutter-free accommodation on one level. Very peaceful, leafy surroundings. Friendly, helpful hosts and our dog was happy too!
