I loved this place! The main thing I love was the flow of air that blew the apartment. I live in the States and I’ve never lived without A/C even as a child growing up so whenever I visit the Gambia I’m always worried about being hot. Being on the top floor there was always a wonderful breeze flowing through the open windows. The one thing I would recommend is a FULL LENGTH MIRROR for women. Me and my husband tend to go out for dinner a lot or other places and as a women I need to be able to look at how I look before going out. All woman need that. Aside from the mirror I have no complaints! I’d surely stay here again! We loved it!

Mamie’s place truly felt like a home away from home. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. From the moment we checked in, right through to the end (including a really kind late check-out), everything went so smoothly. The house felt secure although being close the main road which was great. The beach and shops were a walk away which was really useful. Mamie was an exceptional host—always responsive, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. The house exceeded my expectations. The garden was absolutely beautiful and even offered fresh fruit and avocados, which was a bonus. I highly recommend Mamie’s place to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-equipped home including back up generator which is needed in The Gambia. I had a wonderful vacation. The place was very big very spacious. We were not there much. We were out a lot. Omar the attendant. There was absolutely wonderful. He was really at our back and call anytime. My fiancé would call him. He answered. We were coming home at five 6 o’clock in the morning and he would be there to open our gate. The best service I’ve probably ever had from a very kind man. Omar made our stay very pleasant so we thank him very much.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at this villa and we really cannot recommend it enough, from the lovely location in a very peaceful street to the lovely villa with all you need for a self catering stay it was flawless, there’s a local shop steps away and the beach is very close too, but the real jewel in this villas crown is Lamin, nothing is ever any trouble and he is literally the most genuine person be around, we all love him and hope to see him again very soon. Thank you Tony and Eileen for sharing your place with us, it was a joy 🤩
