Dark Skye Cottage

BrendaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Dark Skye Cottage is amazing. The view from the huge windows is incredible. We were blown away by the view and the surroundings when we arrived. The house is furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. All the appliances and furnishings are of high quality. We particularly appreciated the washer/dryer and laundry room. Although there were only two of us we also appreciated having a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. What set the house apart though is the amazing view. I wish we had more time and could have stayed longer and just enjoyed some relaxing days enjoying the view but there is so much to see on the Isle of Skye. We loved the location because it was so secluded and enjoyed watching the sheep below. It’s no wonder that Sally’s house stays booked so far in advance. If you can manage to find some availability, don’t hesitate to book. You will not regret it.

The Toolshed

StephenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Toolshed was a great base for me to stay on Uist where I did some hiking and hill climbing. Barbara was a very friendly host with good knowledge about the area. The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped and, convenienly, next to a supermarket and just a short drive to the ferry.
A serene coastal scene captures a ferry navigating calm waters near a small harbor. An old stone castle sits on an island, with green hills visible in the distance. The sky is clear and blue, reflecting beautifully on the water's surface.

What a wonderful place to stay. We had a relaxing time and when we were needing excitement there were plenty of places to go. Claire was an exceptional host and very knowledgeable and friendly. I will absolutely be back to stay at Seabreezes in the future. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Panoramic Sea Views - hot tub

LoganRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We loved staying at the Larch Shed! Hallin is a beautiful slice of Skye with much to do and is a little off the beaten path from the main tourist areas like Portree. Jane was very hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The Shed itself was exactly as described and very peaceful with an absolutely stunning view of the bay to start and end your day with. Everything was well appointed and we enjoyed the rustic decor. Highly recommend the YurtTea down the road for small breakfast and coffee, as well as nearby Stein Inn for amazing dinner. We also enjoyed Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan for dinner. Would recommend stopping at the co op on Forest rd in Portree for cooking provisions on your way up. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our return!

Isle of Eriskay Glamping Pods 2

CrystalRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this accommodation was and how well situated it was for the wedding we were attending. Its a quaint little cabin which had everything we needed and a bigger shower than expected. Everything was spotlessly clean and the provided soaps and shower gels smelled gorgeous. We had issues with the ferry on the way to the island and we notified Sophie who was completely understanding. We were also given all the information we needed prior to arriving and the WiFi was great. I would highly recommend staying in this pod if visiting Eriskay as it's perfect for visiting this lovely island.

Beautiful house in a beautiful island. Grianan has all that we needed for a lovely week in Barra. The views are stunning and the house has been very well done. We can’t wait to return
