Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Brownwood

This was my first visit to see my son and daughter in law in Cross Plains. We found the town folk very welcoming and the town charming. Phil’s bunkhouse was perfect for our visit with the most comfy beds ever! I will be back!!

Great stay. So hard to find a nice place when we come to Coleman to visit family. Way better than a hotel. Joseph was extremely communicative and friendly. Gave solid advice for where to eat and what to do. House was clean. TVs had streaming which was nice for the kids…house very kid friendly. Keurig coffee maker is always a plus. Convenient to town. Will stay here again!

Great place! We were in town for a fishing tournament at OH Ivee Lake! It was 40 minutes to the lake and very close to the little town of Coleman which was very quaint! I would highly recommend this home!

Such a nice place to stay. My friend’s horse was happy. Roomy, clean,huge TV, good wifi. Nice hosts. Good to relax.

The property is as described. We had a couple small glitches but the host was very responsive and absolutely great. One of the showers didn’t perform properly but it wasn’t any big deal for us. The heater was stuck on high when we arrived but the host responded very quick and we solved the issue promptly. We rented the house very last minute as we had another one rented for the stay time but cancelled on us last minute. So it was great finding this place. I’d definitely rent again. It has a double boat dock but the intended boat slip to use isn’t good for a 21ft bass boat. It has a lift that won’t work for a boat that large so if your boat is longer than 18ft or so you’ll definitely have to use the other slip. We caught good fish off the dock at night. The water under the dock is about 15ft at the lake full. All in all it’s a YES for anyone😀Michael Mikus

Ted’s place is a gem ! We enjoyed everything about it ! Very spacious , cozy , a place to relax & unwind ! We felt right at home. It was very clean & had everything we needed. He has it set up nicely - creek for fishing 🎣 propane grill for grilling , fire pit for s’more’s kayaks / oars , paddle boats , 🛶 life jackets for everyone safety . Kids really enjoyed it ! Very peaceful 😌 We all had a a great time! Ted is welcoming & very good host ! We will come back again ! Thanks Ted cya next time

Awesome place that April and Jose have and awesome hospitality. Jose and April checked to see how I was doing throughout my stay and if I needed anything they would be there. I highly recommend Possum Well Ranch for anyone that wants to be out in the country to come stay at the ranch and enjoy the peacefulness.

This is the perfect house for our sister/nieces weekend. Loved every minute of it!

The Octo cabin was perfect for our snall family of 3. The loft is perfect for kids! Check in was seamless, the decorations were fantastic! The kitchen was clean and well outfitted for a comfortable, eating in and preparing food stay. This site is definitely on our list to visit again.

We have stayed here several times! It is amazing each visit. April and Jose are the kindest people. They are there if you need them. The location is awesome for hunting. I could see bringing my family back just for a get-away! Can’t say enough great things!

Our stay at Wonderland was perfect! From the house being very comfortable and updated, to Rob assisting us with our needs and even keeping an eye on the severe storms for us. We would absolutely love to stay here again, we felt right at home!

This was our second stay at John’s Bunkhouse. It’s peaceful and quiet and has everything that we needed.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in The Melody! Everything was perfect and we would love to stay here again. Loved the outdoor porches and the cute interior.

Todd was very nice and responsive when I messaged him. We loved the place. We had a family gathering and it was perfect for the family. It has a wonderful view. The hot tub was our favorite part. I would recommend this place if you need a getaway. :)
