Townhouse with beautiful view over the lake to Stresa and the mountains of Switzerland. Very practical that you can park the car in an underground parking and enter the house through its cellar. Good mattress with typical German feather beds and a direct lake view from the master bedroom’s bed. Our dog enjoyed the garden and the balcony (master bedroom) very much. It was very easy for him to climb up the stairs to the first floor, because the granite steps are roughened so they are not slippery, even when wet. There is a beach area (Cerro Beach) on the way to the restaurant Il Chiosco di Cerro where dogs are playing in the morning or evening and ours was warmly welcomed to join the group. We charged our car in Laveno-Mombello next to Cafe Vela (harbor promenades) and next to Via della Pergola, which brings you to the Sasso del Ferro gondola. But there are plenty of other charging stations around so we never got in trouble.

We had a very delightful and relaxing stay at Hannes’s beautiful home overlooking gorgeous Lago Maggiore. Swimming in their pool was a definite highlight and was a refreshing treat during the hot days. The home is very well-appointed and comfortable. The gracious outdoor seating and mature plantings were lovely. Hannes and his family left very clear and friendly instructions about our stay and info about the surrounding area. Everything was thought out very well. Everyone we encountered in the surrounding towns was warm and welcoming. The nature is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We had an uplifting and joyous visit! It’s a special place and clearly a lovely family!

Thank you Kristina for the lovely time we had at your place! It was exactly what we needed! This is a must-book. Kristina is a very friendly, proactive and involved host. The accomodation is fantastic. The salt water pool is kept squeeky clean by Kristina (every day she cleans it herself). The view from the pool is fantastic. We had our 11 month baby with us and Kristina provided all amenities we could wish for: quality cot, quality baby chair and some really nice toys! Although the house is a bit remote, there is a lot to do within a 15 minute drive. One of the cleanest lakes in Italy is a 10 minute walk from the house which is lovely as well.

Sara is the best host I've ever encountered. Her house is beautiful and the setting is stunning. But, much more than that, Sara's attention, care and kindness were remarkable. She did all the things a good host does, but also went above and beyond to make our stay very special - including welcome pastries and a even a custom cake for a birthday we were celebrating! Truly exceptional.

The house has a fantastic location between the vineyards of Brissago. The architecture, the interior and the rooms are very beautiful and we liked them very much - we love puristic design. Many details in the house and around it make the house very special. When you sit on the terrace in the evening, grill, the crickets chirp and you look at the lake with a glass of wine - then this atmosphere is something unique - which you cannot buy. Eva - the house fairy - is super friendly and helpful and gave us many tips. Mille Grazie for the lovely stay at Casa Largo. We will be happy to come back!

We felt comfortable in Umberto's quiet and well-kept apartment. The co-host Silvia is very helpful and available at any time. Special thanks to them. The surroundings offer a lot of beauty, very convenient for various activities. The terrace with the beautiful view of the lake is perfect if you don't want to do anything.

There were four adults and three children on the trip. Vitaly's house was perfect for us! The swimming pool was big and clean. The scenery around the house was absolutely stunning. Vitaly helped us whenever needed and gave good tips. Hopefully we'll be back again!

The host was super helpful and nice. The stay was pleasant I would only recommend that you take a car as it can be difficult to get around on foot.

I was happy to stay here as I was looking for an affordable stay. Samuele is an attentive, flexible host and did even help me in a pinch!

We had a lovely time, Davide’s beautiful home was in the perfect location as you walked out of the door if you looked to your left the lake is in view and everywhere was extremely walkable. Everything was extremely clean and also was equipped with everything you may need. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the picturesque town of Arona.

I loved it at Corte Di Brenta. It is an old style Lombardy Court house, part of a classic Corte Lombarda, northern Italy. In particular I loved the two main bedrooms, each with their own mosaic terrace, where You can sit peacefully sipping a good drink or enjoying some local good food. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains from the back terrace. Great shower cubicle in the upstairs bathroom, with a rain shower and jacuzzi. All is there for your confort and an easy life, and a good holiday. Lovely garden too. Just make Yourself at home. Plenty of fun on offer too in that beautiful area of lakes and mountains. Great eateries and patisseries too, just ask Andrea or the locals. Two places from Me: Circolo Di Arolo, and Pasticceria Marabelli on the Varese Lake. For a great night of food and JAZZ head for Il Sorpasso, Laveno Mombello, on Lake Maggiore. Must book in advance. Life is Good @Corte Di Brenta.

Casa Longhi is a beautiful place located right in the centre of this historic village and close to the lake. The casa is historic (built in 1456 - note; the plumbing has been upgraded since! 🤣). It retains its old world charm and ambiance. It is has a very comfy bed and everything was spotlessly clean. The washing machine is a bonus. Nicolo is a fabulous friendly host. Highly recommended - Grazie.!!

There is nothing to add to the numerous positive reports, I can basically only repeat and confirm them! The house is very nicely furnished with a great, new bathroom, a very comfortable bed (double room 1st floor) and plenty of storage space. Although the house has no air conditioning, we slept well with the excellent shading (electric wooden shutters!!) and the fans despite high temperatures. The view of the lake is fantastic and we spent a lot of time on the well-equipped terrace! On the other hand, we found it very pleasant that you can easily walk to all the restaurants and also the small lawn by the lake. But apart from all the advantages of the house, one must especially highlight the warm hospitality of Cristina and Paolo! Thanks again for this! I'm sure we'll be back in the next few years!

There were two of us at The Lake for a week and it was a very nice time. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is super comfortable, the air conditioning works great. The garden with a hot tub is cozy. I had concerns at first because it is laid out with artificial turf, but this is high-quality and does not feel strange. The house is next to a railway embankment, but that doesn't bother you, there are only a few trains and they are very slow. With the windows closed, you can't hear anything about it. The street where the house is located is also not very busy. The decor is very modern and tidy overall. There is information material about nearby places and attractions - we had a very clear plan of what we wanted to do, but for those who are spontaneous, it is certainly helpful. Mirko was also immediately on hand if there were any questions or a problem. We felt very comfortable and would stay here again at any time.

We had a lovely stay, house was spacious, very clean and had plenty of amenities. There is a shop 4 minutes walk away and you’re only a wander from the lakefront and lots of great restaurants. We felt very at home and air conditioning meant we weren’t too warm at night. The train was quite loud as you are directly next to the tracks but they didn’t particularly bother us and we found it quite a fun and memorable part of the stay! The house manages to be close to town and still feel private, safe and secluded, would definitely recommend :)

Very peaceful place, and perfect for nature lovers! Host was very proactive and communication was smooth. In short, perfect stay!

Cozy and quiet wee house. Very comfortable stay. 10 minutes drive from Stresa, in quiet village on the hillside. Needed to close shutters in bedroom due to outside security light from across the street. Romanesque church 100 metres away was amazing!!

This little place is just off the main area of stresa, which means it is in a quaint little suburb. The house feels just like home with Simona and Enrico leaving some goodies as required. The only thing is that it seemed that there was a little bit of a party at one of the locals houses, which kept my partner up and the church has a bell tower so no need to set an alarm! Otherwise was exactly what we needed!

Everything was perfect, even the weather 😊 The flat is excellent value for money, spacious, spotlessly clean in a quiet yet strategic area to visit Lago Maggiore. Claudia was responsive and gave us tips including on motorboat rental. There is a big and free parking area just across the road. Will be back!

Great cozy house in a very quiet location. The house is especially suitable for couples due to its size and amenities. But our daughter (almost 4 years old) also liked it very much. We were all very comfortable. It is very original, I liked that. Toddlers should either not be able to walk or be able to walk stairs very well. It was very clean and everything necessary such as dish towels or dishwasher detergent was available. There is no unnecessary decoration around. Marco is very nice, responds quickly and overall everything was uncomplicated.

We were very kindly received and well informed by Lorenza! The house has all the comforts, everything is present and everything was super clean. The garden is beautifully large and fenced with a fence so that the dog can also walk around freely. On the terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful views and the quiet surroundings. Communication with Alberto was also super, always responded quickly and friendly. Alberto and Lorenza thank you for your hospitality, the chance that we will come again is great! Naomi's cottage in the forest is a dream! Equipped with everything you need, even to cook for yourself, and beautifully located. Naomi was super sweet and even provided us with a small welcome gift! All in all, a wonderful place to Relax, explore Lugano and its surroundings or the surrounding mountains! I'm sure we'll be back!

Our stay at Antonella’s place was great! She was super friendly and helpful, and everything was as described in the house. Beautiful decoration, kitchen with great amenities and in general a well maintained place. Highly recommend!
