Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge. I – Janine, a trained hotel manager – am particularly interested in bringing people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

The barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible bungalow offers plenty of space with its 105 square meters. Whether on the terrace in the garden, in front of the cozy fireplace in the living area or in the extra large bathtub. On rainy days, the Curve Design TV with SKY and entertainment system invites you to relax on the genuine leather sofa. A PS4, game collections, children's books and a foosball table are available for younger guests. After an active day, use the infrared sauna with mood lighting and radio for up to 4 people.

It is quietly located in the hilltop village of Schanze (720 m above sea level) on the Rothaarsteig in the middle of a wooded hiking area. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet who want to relax in beautiful nature, as well as for hikers and mountain bikers. In winter, skiing (ski lifts in Schmallenberg and Winterberg), cross-country skiing and sledding are possible. Our horses convey country life.
