Cottage vacation rentals in Brockville

What a treat! Beautifully situated right on the waters’ edge. Lots to do!! We visited the charming town of Picton when the weather was nice! Lots of cute shops and great places to eat! On the rainy day we had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the view, cooking meals in the gourmet kitchen and watching movies on the jumbo tv! Perfect spot for a girls’ weekend or for a couples retreat!

Girls weekend here was fantastic! Very comfortable and clean cottage. Beautiful views. Love the large deck, enclosed porch and big kitchen. Would definitely book again.

This place is such a gem. Attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Our girls’ weekend was perfection. The sauna is a must, the view from the hot tub is gorgeous (even in an icestorm), the pottery for coffee was stunning, the beds were soooo comfortable, loads of towels for all of our spa activities, heated floors and a stellar Woodstove. The only problem is that with all of these amenities, you don’t want to leave to explore the area… that’s why next time we will book a longer stay! Thank you Ken and Rachel for this little slice of heaven.

Had a wonderful stay! Cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and clean. Grounds were beautiful, it was like being in your own mini private resort. Look out for an otter swimming back and forth in the lake-super cute! Alison was great to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. Loved it!

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

We had a wonderful time here. Enjoyed the hot tub and Sauna. The beds were comfortable, had lots of towels for both hot tub and shower. It had everything we needed for a nice stay.

One of the best cottages I’ve ever been to, has all of the amenities you would need for a great time. The pictures don’t even do justice, it’s truly a beautiful place and the backyard has an amazing vibe with the view of the lake at all times and you can’t beat having a private beach! The host was very nice and friendly. Definitely coming back a bunch of times!

We spent three lovely late winter nights. The cottage was clean, spacious and very inviting. My wife and I loved the sauna and my kids loved the hot tub. We cozied up in the evening watching movies, puzzling and playing cards. The deck with the fire pit was a favourite spot for a morning coffee looking at the frozen lake. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the city and unwind for a getaway as a couple or family. Hosts were fantastic!

We had a perfect winter getaway and would be back anytime. The description and pictures shown are accurate, it’s actually more beautiful in person. Loved how well-equipped the place is. From everything you might need in the kitchen&bathroom to the beautiful and thoughtful touches like the inside swing and the coffee table books, games, movies, an array of pillows and blankets to choose from and comfy beds. This place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and feels private even with the neighbouring houses. The sauna is breathtaking and a luxurious addition. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Caroline was so kind and responsive and graciously extended help during a bad ice storm that happened during our stay. We would come back, 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Second time coming staying at Sam’s. Just as magical and peaceful as before. Can’t wait to come again next year.

We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

The cottages were exactly as described and perfect for a fishing weekend with friends. We found everything we needed and the setup with the bigger cottage allowed for comfortable dining and hangout space for everyone while the smaller cottage provided extra sleeping quarters for all. The property was very clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

What a gem this cottage is. We’d move in forever! Loved the open concept and the updated kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for our dog with a forest hiking trail close by. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the dock for sunrises and sunsets. Idyllic!

We really enjoyed our stay - nice and quiet area and a great base for exploring Manitou mountain and calabogie peaks resort. Clean and tidy. Recommend!

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

Ellen’s place was so clean and inviting. I didn’t want to leave! The beds and couches were comfortable and the view was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here!
