George has done a wonderful job curating the house and making every space the coziest one can imagine. Its extremely well stocked and you will never run out of things to do. There are a ton of boardgames and activities to keep you busy. The views are breathtaking and the house is right on the lake. George is a wonderful host. Communicated proactively, was very reachable at all times. A very sweet, kind human.

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. We just finished our stay at this establishment. We loved it right away. The host has taken time and planning to decorate the house with a pleasant tasteful beach theme. We were holding a reunion with folks traveling from UT. The beachfront was outstanding. The solid ADK chairs, firepit, watercraft, and walk-in swimming with a sandy bottom were all perfect. The gas grill was deluxe and cooked evenly. There were plenty of games provided inside as well. For conscientious people, I suggest filling a bucket with water and putting it by the back stairs. This will allow you to clean your feet off before entering the house. Like other reviews, doing dishes was challenging, but we knew and brought paper plates, bowls, cups, and plastic silverware. When we did the dishes, we boiled the water it was not a big deal. I like to recline, so I did bring a few zero-gravity chairs. The host also makes it clear to bring your beach towels. Neighbors were friendly. Happy Camping!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

What a wonderful escape! The water nearly surrounded the cottage and every direction you have a gorgeous view. Our days were spent on the lake in the kayak exploring the area. The water was so clear that you could see all the fish. Our dogs loved the area and the swimming. The area was private, and had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!
