Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. It is centred in the beautiful, ancient village of Winkleigh which is the heart of Devon, equidistant from both coasts and moors and allows guests to explore this fantastic area. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. Guests are also welcome to explore the extensive gardens, wildlife meadow and stream. We would love to welcome you to our hidden gem to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place.

Step onto your deck and unwind in the sunken hot tub, perfectly positioned to catch sunset views over the rolling countryside. Though you're tucked away in a secluded spot, an award winning gastro pub, The Duck, is just 25 mins walk (or 7 min drive) away and all amenities in Crediton are 10 mins away.

Chocolate box Cottage in the heart of Devon

Jasmine cottage is a cosy 17th century Devonshire thatched cottage with everything you need for a short break or relaxing week or two away. Perfect for romantic couples or family getaways, ideally situated for country walks, cycling & exploring beautiful Dartmoor. The north Devon and Cornish coast is just under an hour drive. With a log burner for cosy winter nights in, and a lovely shingle garden for sunny afternoons. Comfortably sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.
