Hope Cottage is amazing. The location is wonderful, the house itself has everything you need and makes you feel like you're staying in a proper British cottage. Sarah is an amazing host: she answered any questions I had very quickly and was just in general very kind. One thing to note: the house isn't built for tall people. I'm 181 cm tall (about 5'11) and I had to bend down a bit whilst going through doorways or using the shower. It didn't really bother me, but it's just something to be aware of. Whether you want a quiet retreat or a homebase to explore the area, this is an amazing place to do so!

What can I say, we had the most amazing time at Lisa and Nick’s place! Lisa was incredibly kind and helpful, welcoming us with a handwritten card and a cake upon arrival. She gave us a tour of the lodge, which was honestly the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, fully equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t miss a thing! The lodge is located on their property, but it still feels very private and peaceful, with plenty of space and seclusion. Our one-year-old loved playing in the garden, watching the (baby) Moorhens, ducks Molly and Mathilda, and meeting the dogs Minnie and Nahla. We would 100% love to come back again!

Quiet, secluded, peaceful surroundings, spacious & comfortable accommodations. Can see why the Hen House consistently ranks as a top choice & A-bnb favorite. The Hen House has certainly become our favorite. Nicki & Johnny are fabulous hosts, considerate of guests' comfort & privacy. We were able to enjoy the meadow, long walks along the country roads, some fun table tennis, & quiet reading under the shade trees. A favorite time of day was having breakfast at the patio table just outside the door to the hen house, save a day or two, we had great weather for it. Wifi is excellent. Neil works remotely & never had a dropped conference call. There's plenty of games & DVDs for the rainy days; & the house is equipped with all the tools you'll need to keep it clean/tidy. I only wish I knew how to play the piano. I would have played a few tunes. If you enjoy birding, you'll love the birdsong & the birds that visit the garden, glorious. Truly a wonderful place to stay, enjoy & relax. Gracias!

Had a super stay at Ashleigh’s place with my friends for our birthdays. We all loved the bedrooms (fabulous bedding!) and the fact each room had a lovely en-suite really made a difference. Very comfortable stay in the house and a great location with some lovely places to eat and shop in easy walking distance. A lovely weekend all round!

Amazing gem in the Cotswold! Tranquil and beautiful with lots of space inside and out. Would love to go back any time we are back in the countryside. Super close to SoHo Farmhouse. Highly recommend!

This little cottage really was like a home away from home. Claire’s communication of how to find the cottage and how to check in was super clear and made things so simple. She also gives loads of information about local hotspots to visit, taxi companies and local eateries which was super handy as we didn’t know the area. Perfect little spot if you’re looking to visit Diddly Squat Farm and the Farmer’s Dog (our main reason for visiting), but also perfect for taking day trips to Oxford (park and ride only half an hour’s drive away) or other Cotswold towns and villages like Bourton-on-the-water (would definitely recommend visiting). Overall, would definitely recommend. I was sad to be leaving the peace and tranquility behind!

Sophia is a great host and the cottage is absolutely perfect. Felt like home in a fairyland. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything is accessible via car. Location is pretty secluded but google maps takes you right to the gate. Inside was very clean, most importantly linen was fresh and clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Host also kept full bottle of milk and orange juice! I have not seen such hospitality anywhere else. Cottage is big and exactly as described in listing. Very comfortable to sit around in living room. There were clear instructions on how to use heater if needed. There is also portable heater if desired. Shower is little tricky and sorta weird given the house structure. It is not a standup shower. You have to sit in tub and “bath” using handle. If you are over 5’10” may find it little tough to navigate. Although, there are clear instructions on how to use it and ton of amenities in the bathroom. Shower itself is very good. I would most definitely recommend this place!

I was there for 1 night whilst travelling it was clean and functional, way more space and stuff than I needed. The bedroom was bigger than most airbnb apartments!

We absolutely adored our stay here. The house was perfect - the size, amenities, and the beautiful sunroom. We spent hours in there playing games, reading, and simply enjoying the view of the beautiful roses and trees in the back yard. We had everything we needed, and it really felt like home - away from home. We would recommend it to friends and stay again in a heartbeat. This is a very special house.

Lovely Annexe, quiet, comfortable and clean. Loved traditional furniture, gave it a senses of homeliness. Ideal location for onward trip in our classic Mini ! Thanks a lot Penny

Lovely little cottage right in the heart of Winchcombe. Beautifully presented, with everything we wanted for a week's escape to the country. Easy to access, clear instructions given in plenty of time of our arrival, and any questions we had were answered quickly. While there are 2 at least double beds, 4 adults might struggle (especially if they're tall) as there's a few low beams in the living room especially, but for us that just added to the authenticity and charm of the place. Only one thing to note- parking can be a little 'hit and miss' during the day, but we were always able to get parked right outside on the evening. We had a fabulous time and this place will definitely be on our list to look out for if/when we return to the Cotswolds area.

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Thanks again Farahnaz & Paul, We will be back.

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Easy walk to the pub across the fields and a lovely owner who was very responsive and willing to share her dogs with our children! Pool is a fab bonus and location is great for local villages and attractions, such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We didn’t want to leave and have already re booked!

Rosalind was a very friendly and communicative host. She offered a range of breakfasts and recommended some lovely local walks. The property was in a fab location with lots of nice walks/pubs nearby.

Lovely clean place on a lovely site. There was a thoughtful little hamper of some food and milk and a treat box for our dog when we arrived which was a nice touch! Wish we had stayed longer, the pool and cafe were great! The terrace was massive with lots of chairs on and we’d love to come in the warmer months!

What a wonderful place to stay! We had a great weekend at stable cottage, location exactly as described, beautiful setting and really comfy beds! The amenities in the place were great and we really enjoyed the log fire in the evenings. Would definitely recommend!
