Old Cottage - English Countryside Retreat

RichieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The pictures really do match the reality. Beautiful house, large private garden, peaceful surroundings. Kitchen was as shown, large, all the neccesary pots, pans, crockery and utensils. Lounge was large and comfortable. Hot tub is obviously a large plus and the location makes for a peaceful a d private experience. If I had to provide feedback, the only change I would make would be the mattresses. We are possibly a little spoilt at home but a small upgrade to them would make the difference. Overall the accomodation was exactly as shown, Russell was a friendly, helpful and responsive host and we had a great time.

Spa Garden Cottage with hot tub/sauna/plunge pool

EstelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have visited a lot of air bnbs and I have to say this is one of the best. Every small detail that makes a difference is there. One of our friends is a professional chef and he was really impressed with the equipment in the kitchen. The garden is huge and beautifully kept. Coming with two small children the addition of some children’s toys and games was great. Everything is in pristine condition and exceptionally clean. A really exceptional air bnb!

Sally’s place felt like going through a portal into a magical garden. The house was so cozy with beautiful vintage decor and an amazing fireplace. The highlight of the trip was eating breakfast outside by the river and watch the ducks. And can’t forget about the lovely host Sally is! Always responsive and helpful with lots of good food and nature walks recommendations.

Great cottage, even in winter we loved the views. It was impeccably cleaned and smelled like fresh laundry and soap when we arrived. Very comfortable bed and couch. Sarah and Jon were very friendly and helpful. Great walks/hikes straight from the cottage.

Cute Cottage, Flint stone cottage, Hemel Hempstead

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay, Trudi was a great host. Cute cottage was in a good location for us, and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. The garden space was great for the children. Only issue we had was parking, lots of double yellow lines, or permit parking. I have a blue badge so had more options for parking that my husband. The spaces outside the cottage were always full, but there is a car park which is free in the evening. We would stay again in the future as the propety and location suit us. Thank you 😊

Ticehurst Home with a view

Anna KatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a wonderful two night stay with my husband, two children and cocker spaniel! The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed (and really appreciated the little touches like the daffs on the table, yummy cake and a treat for the dog. Totally beautiful (small) garden that was full of colour (very much enjoyed a glass of wine under the festoon lights in the apple tree both evenings). A little note to anyone bringing a dog - If you have an escape artist dog like we have, you might want to check the fences and bushes for little escape holes as ours found them quickly! But a bit of patching up with bits and bobs ment that we could relax while he sniffed around. Ticehust is a gem of a village with lovely independent shops (and The Bell is a great place to eat - really quirky and delicious food). We would absolutely stay again!

Sissinghurst Cottage lovely countryside walks

GailRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at studio cottage as it was spotlessly clean, had lovely linen and towels, great dressing room, bathroom and kitchen which was well equipped for our requirements. The location was perfect for visiting local areas and the local village shop great for last minute purchases. Jackie was quick to answer any of our queries and accommodate our requests. We would highly recommend this lovely cottage.

Pretty country cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath, sleeps 4

Sue SkeatsRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Beautiful, pristine and stylishly decorated [modern] cottage in a private, quiet countryside setting. A bonus overnight stop for a birthday party I was attending nearby. Stay included breakfast with high quality ingredients (superb crusty sourdough baguette and President unsalted butter). Stylish bits in the huge bedroom gave an understated Indian vibe: loved the zebra rug (I Googled it and found it on Ruggable; the Safari Sapphire) and a very cool elephant lampshade from Susie Watson (thanks Jane for the deco tip!) Appreciated the eco-friendly touches too: the carton of oat milk (as an alternative to the cow's milk also supplied), Who Gives a Crap toilet paper and a powerful, but water-saving shower head. Just to flag up: my mobile signal disappeared as I neared the property so I had to drive to next village to pick up signal to say I'd arrived - as Jane lives next door. Also you'll be sharing the cottage with a tenant there, though I didn't see him when I was there. Fab AirBnB.

Clean & cosy 2 bed cottage near Twickenham stadium

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the area. We booked as we had tickets for the Rugby and the location was perfect, it was a nice easier walk to the stadium. There is also a great pub a couple of doors down, where we managed to watch the other two six nations games. The host was very responsive to all our questions and gave clear check-in instructions. Overall we had a great stay, great weekend and would use again if available.
A spacious living area features light wood flooring and a large round rug at the center. A sectional sofa is positioned against a wall with decorative artwork. A round mirror reflects light from the ceiling, while a staircase leads to the upper level, adding to the open layout.

Queens Park Town House

FleurRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely stay at this house located in a quiet setting but nevertheless close to bus and subway lines to central London. Very convenient location for Harry Potter studios because accommodation located on the line that leads to Watford Junction. Comfortable and pleasant house, tastefully decorated, ideal for a family stay because very well equipped for children. Alexis is a very friendly host who was available and responsive when we had questions. Recommended. Small thought for Cookie the cat we already miss!

2 bed cottage & huge garden office in East London

JenniferRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We spent the holiday weekend visiting family in the neighborhood (whose house was too small to host everyone). The cottage was quaint but perfect for what we needed. The host was super responsive and very accommodating. It took us ~45 minutes to get into downtown for touristy sights - but it was very easy to navigate with public transit.
The exterior of a charming cottage is viewed at dusk, where warm light emanates from the windows. The landscape features a well-maintained garden with a seating area and trees framing the property. A pathway leads to the inviting entrance, accentuated by soft outdoor lighting.

1 West View - Cottage

MiaRating, 5 stars82 months ago
This is a lovely cottage in one of my favourite parts of London. We loved walking across the Heath, or up to the VIllage for a gourmet pub Lunch or simply enjoying a ride on the C2 into Camden for the best ice-cream in the world. For families with older kids exploring London this is a great place to stay. After a long, hot days in London it was so nice to come back to the quiet streets and views of Highgate.
An outdoor garden space features a wooden dining table with seating for six, surrounded by blooming tulips in various colors. Lush greenery and flowering plants provide a vibrant backdrop, while a stone-paved patio offers a comfortable area for relaxation or dining.

We were working locally and this was the ideal location. The house felt very homely which was lovely considering we were away from home for so long. The garden was a small slice of peace in a busy city and I’d love to see what it was like like during summer months. Really hope we get to stay again!
