John is a great host and we enjoyed spending a little time with him once in awhile. The place was as described and a good starting off place each morning.

Great spot for anyone looking to stay in tooting

Let me start by saying location location location, such a good location can walk to Chelsea, Kensington, the parks etc Matthew the host super helpful, house is amazing, nice two bedrooms, lovely living room and kitchen and an amazing roof terrace, perfect in the summer Can’t recommend highly enough and if available would jump at the opportunity to stay here again. Bravo

Eugenie’s house was absolutely beautiful. It really is vintage heaven & the beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood was peaceful with great transport links. I would definitely stay there again!

Paul and Angela's cottage was perfect for our short stay. The location is in a very quiet location yet within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit in Greenwich and near great transport links to Central London. The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As mentioned in other reviews there is a narrow spiral staircase as clearly shown in the pictures but our 6 year old managed this just fine and we were able to take our cases up. Paul and Angela answered any queries quickly and were kindly able to accommodate requests to leave luggage at the cottage pre/post check in/out times so we could make the most of our short stay. We would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

Harriet’s place was just what we had hoped for as a family of 9. The kitchen was such a nice spot for the family to congregate and look out at the patio waiting for the morning fox visit who walked across the fence every morning. It was such a nice treat for us US based city dwellers. Highly recommend!

An excellent place to stay in a great location with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and a very short walk to Kew Gardens and Kew Gardens train station. Enjoyed the outdoor terrace and large living/dining room area. Highly recommended.

The flat is in walking distance to a lot of places including Greenwich and close to bus and train services. it is close to a plethora of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Antonio was responsive to any questions that I had during and before my stay within a short time. The flat is near to my family, so I'll definitely keep him in mind for future stays. Hugh and Sally are fantastic hosts – very attentive and responsive. The flat is lovely and has everything you need, including a washer-dryer, which was super convenient. It’s in a great location, close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Thank you Sabreena. We had an amazing time in Forest Hill. It was the perfect mix of city and rest and relaxation. It is a really easy walk to the station to get into central London. However the local restaurants are also really good. The house is so spacious, with comfy beds and a great shower. The parking space was also a real plus for the area. Thank you Sabreena for being a great host! We will definitely be back.

This house was very comfortable. We had everything we needed at Battersea. It was very clean just like the pictures show. It had quite space for all of us easy to get in get out and also the subway underneath was very easy to access. Faisal was very helpful we would book again whenever we come to London thank you for everything.

Great location - the apartment was in excellent condition, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Silvia who checked me in and showed me the facilities (spa facilities, lovely swimming pool, gym,...) was lovely. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Having stayed with StarHost before, I can confidently say their service remains outstanding. I'll definitely book this place again in the future when in London.

Want a nice quiet spot in West London that's affordable? This is it. Always got peaceful nights sleep and it's easy to get to the underground or walks to Shepherd's Bush.

Kappy’s place was beautiful. The perfect stay. Beautiful balcony with views across to the O2 and central London. Comfy amenities, extremely clean, and everything we could have asked for. Lovely studio, just as described. . Short walk to East Croydon station making it easy to head into London or even off to Brighton for the day. Grocery nearby as well as plenty of food and entertainment options. Stephen was very helpful in leaving detailed information about the area and things to do. Very clean with all the amenities I needed. Very communicative. Not a single problem during my 7 night stay. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing place to take in the city!

We had an amazing time and the flat is cute, beautifully furnished and arranged and very clean. The location is also greta because Stockwell tube station is only about 7min walk. And you can also walk to Brixton. The flat is perfect for someone alone or a couple, not ideal for friends travelling together though because the second bed is in the living room. Thank you so much for a very nice stay!!

Beautiful updated apartment with everything we needed. It was a perfect size with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is completely updated. Having a washer/dryer was a plus! As three senior women, we felt very safe in the home and the entire neighborhood. We Ubered into London to see the sights, but we could walk a mile or two to downtown Clapham where there are so many restaurants, grocery stores & shopping. There are children living in the apartment next door & above who woke early & like to play (bring earplugs if you like to sleep in). Our stay was overall wonderful and we would highly recommend staying here again!!! Thank you Yasmina for everything!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and the main reason was Tessa. She was friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome in her home. And the apartment was lovely -- it's her own place, which means it's cozy and homey, not sterile and pristine like a hotel. There are books on the shelves, items in the kitchen cupboards and a bicycle in the front hall. Everything was clean, the heating worked perfectly (a blessing in 4-degree weather!), the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. I don't know London that well, so I can't speak to the location, but there are plenty of bus stops and metro stations nearby, and my friend and I easily traveled around the city. In terms of the area/neighborhood, it's not exactly picturesque, but I didn't dock any stars because that's hardly the hostess' fault. I just thought I would mention it, although I had absolutely no problem with it. I definitely recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay at Laurence's place! He was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit he even offered to drive me to the local station, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The space itself is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple: cozy, private, and very well kept. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful spot with a fantastic host!
