Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Brissac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

After torrential rain on arrival, Silvia greeted us warmly and with a lit fireplace! The house is well equipped and nickel-chromium clean, beautiful terrace, river for sunbathing and cooling off right in the garden. Silvia and Joseph are wonderful hosts! Very attentive, very helpful, communicative and discreet at the same time. Outstanding accommodation to linger and discover the southern Cevennes!

This house is beautiful. Everything is tastefully redone in a sublime and wild environment. In addition, it is very well equipped. Nothing is missing! In addition, Brett is a responsive and attentive host. We hope to be back as soon as possible!

It’s a beautiful house located in a nice little village. The house has two terraces so that you always find sun. It’s very clean and functional while preserving its cosy cottage style. Just perfect. We will come back.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

We were extremely well hosted by Christophe, who was waiting for us in front of the house and spent time with us to give us the right tips for the area. The house is amazing; it is large, quiet and cool with lots of character and a nice terrace. The surrounding nature is beautiful. There are many swimming spots and beautiful walks to take on foot.

excellent stay, incredible accommodation in terms of comfort and taste, only downside the noise of the jacuzzi engine but well that does not stop you from enjoying it fully, I highly recommend

Great place in the center of Montpellier, spacious, very nicely decorated, with books and toys for every age (especially if you are a family with children), nice kitchen and bathroom, good beds. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive, would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great time at Julien's place. The neighborhood is quiet, close to the old town and the train station on foot. Good little restaurants nearby. The building is very quiet. The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, well-decorated; good bedding. Contact with Julien is easy. We recommend it.

We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

Small cleaning issue on arrival, but Delphine was responsive and fixed the problem. Very appreciable accommodation in case of heat because it keeps cool. The hot tub and pool are a real plus. The bedding is great. Close to the Vis waterfall and the Cirque de Navacelles, we had a lovely stay.

My wife, eight month old daughter and I had a wonderful 7 nights stay at Nathalie’s place. As other reviews have described it’s very peaceful and the view from the terrace is second to none. We had many bbqs and the heated pool was a big plus. The house had all amenities and Nathalie was always quick and helpful to come back on any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!

We were a group of 11 ppl, and enjoyed our stay. The host was available everytime, location great and clean with a lot of thing to do in the area. We will come back for sure

What an amazing place! It was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in the heart of nature, the setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by trees, birdsong, and beautiful views in every direction. Everything was perfect! The house, the view, the nature, the region, the host… all of us were very extremely happy to stay at Olivier’s place.

The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very village-like but well suited as a starting point for excursions. The tips and advice from Fabrice were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and it has everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

Perfect house for a quiet stay, in the countryside and close to everything. Amazing exterior: wooden terrace with beautiful pool, greenery on the other side of the house: perfect with a 4-legged family member. Don't hesitate to book. Responsive hosts and great tips.

The place is perfect! It is located in the heart of nature with many beautiful walks around. It is perfect for children thanks to the toy boxes available. I would 100% recommend!
