james' place castle cottage

LeAhRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
So much information given about the surrounding area and what it had to offer. Was very helpful and quick with replies, even let us check in an hour earlier. Left us a little present of Prosecco! Started our girls holiday off right and also left with some milk and home made Welsh cakes! Which was need after our long drive down. Place was really tidy and clean, was hard to keep it that way. Location is amazing and the people around town were super friendly and helpful. We are already thinking of visiting again as we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted Thank you so much for a lovely long weekend.

We had a great stay at this lovely property to celebrate finishing our degree! The house was spotless, had all the facilities we needed, and plenty of beds that could be separated – perfect for our group of friends. The hot tub was a great bonus, and the views from the area were absolutely beautiful. Sonny was a brilliant host – very easy to contact and responded quickly to any questions.

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

What an amazing cottage! It has such a calm peaceful feel to it,probably helped by the surrounding hills, pretty much on the doorstep, and the abundance of very warm & friendly locals! I'm also pretty certain the bed is magic as I haven't slept that well for ages! John was so helpful with all necessary details. He has left very useful instructions for local walks etc in the cottage, along with lots of historic information about the area, all extremely interesting. We absolutely loved staying here, and hope to return. A very special place.

The Coach House at Tytanglwyst Farm

OliviaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay for a few days at the Coach House. The accessible features made it possible for us to take a relative we additional needs for a special break. Kids loved exploring the farm and seeing all the animals, and of course the hot tub. John and Liz were really responsive and helpful with any questions. May not be ideal if you are a light sleeper as it's on a working farm but it didn't bother us.

Cosy Cottage with private parking

RuthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is such a beautiful cottage and a super host! We visited for my mums 70th birthday weekend which had a focus on our Gavin and Stacey tour in Barry. We wanted a country setting for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the hustle and this was perfect. Cozy, extremely comfortable and clean. Great amenities and a lovely welcome hamper which was thoroughly enjoyed. A short drive away from the lovely town of Cowbridge, which we hadn’t known about until our arrival. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything, Liz!
