We spent New Year’s Eve at this charming countryside house and it was truly a delightful experience. Communication with Maria was excellent and all the details and assistance provided made everything so much easier. The hospitality was outstanding! Maria’s parents welcomed us with everything perfectly prepared - from the warmth of a cozy fire to a fridge stocked with traditional goodies like bacon, sausages, eggs, honey and more. The house was lovely, well-equipped; managing the heating ourselves added to the charm of the place and wasn’t an issue at all. The courtyard well-maintained and we were blessed with sunny weather throughout our stay. Due to some unexpected and pre-existing health issues, we extended our stay by two nights. Maria and her parents were incredibly thoughtful and supportive, providing food, medication and anything we needed, making us feel like family. We recommend this wonderful location and are certain we’ll return in the future. A big thank you for everything!

Lovely place in the mountains, peace and quiet, cozy and comfortable house. Extremely clean and well appointed, with all the amenities for a long stay. Huge yard for outdoor games. The place is a starting point for Sibiu, Kurtya de Arges, Transfagarak Road, many waterfalls, monasteries and beautiful mountain places to walk. I recommend visiting this piece of paradise in the Carpathians.

Very cozy and clean. The place is great, comfortable bed and beautiful fire place. Went skiing on Transalpina Ski Resort, which is 45 min drive, but beautiful surroundings and amazing views on the way there. Friendly and helpful host. I definitely recommend the place and we will come back, no doubt.

One of the most beautiful houses I've stayed at in Romania. "House with Stories" has absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation. Located near many places for hiking and close to anything you could need (shops, restaurants, etc.) with a gorgeous garden to get lost and a unique interior, made with taste and very comfortable. And Ana-Maria and her husband helped us feel even better than at home. Thank you… I hope to find a free spot in the summer!
