Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

Retro Rents Painted Ladies, Betty

NiravRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a great spot to stay while visiting the Big Bend area. The RVs are fun and match the personality of the area. If you drive an electric vehicle (Tesla or other), this is an EXCELLENT spot to stay. They have NEMA 14-50 outlet and all you have to do is bring your charging cable. Made it super convenient and easy to visit the park and the entire area in my EV. The location is perfect: right in the middle of Terlingua, walking distance from the taco place and Starlight. It's just off a paved road that goes through town. The Park is not far (depending on which part you're going to). Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Big Bend.

Greatly enjoyed our time at the RV. Great night skies for stargazing. Even got some Milky Way shots! Easy to find. Very remote, but plenty of other people nearby. Also saw some wildlife during our stay. Very relaxing.

The Zoo, Terlingua Ghosttown

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our first visiting Big Bend National Park and found “The Zoo” to be a great location. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We had trouble getting the oven to ignite but after leaving a message, Harlan came to the rescue. (He also spent some time with us sharing recommendations on what to do and see in the park.) The evenings were cool so we enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor seating. The grounds were fun to walk around also. We hope to return next Spring and will seek out staying here again.

RV1 - rv NOT included - Tin Valley Retro Rentals

DaniRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I don't think there is a spot better in the Big Bend area to stay and camp than Ronda's spot. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides, there is running water, a shower, so much solitude, and every day we drove back to our campsite it felt like coming home. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone coming into the area! We will be back :)

Great place for price! We enjoyed the surrounding Mountain View. Ronda was sooo kind and helpful with everything we need. Our only downfall was the private shower house and cracked water tank for the RV but hey, it’s the dessert! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thankful for the stay. Highly recommend.

Aristocrat - 7 mins to BBNP

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay overall! Highlights were the location (far enough off the main road for peace and quiet), the showers and the restrooms. The campsite is really cute and every spot has its own theme. Overall the accommodation was good, but the interior was somewhat musty and had a little too much of a “lived in” feel. The place was clean though and had everything we needed!

Big Bend Bunkhouse #1 - 1 mile from Big Bend NP

DanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loved this AirBnB - the RV park was very calm and quiet at night, while it's a short drive to the places in Terlingua that have a more late night scene. Very close to the west entrance to Big Bend. RV was clean, kept cool, and had plenty of space for 3 adults.

Loved Mad Max! Thank you for responded so fast so our reservation request! I had made a mistake on our previous night’s reservations and thought we had it reserved for another night but we didn’t! I panicked and found Mad Max and quickly reserved it! Loved the quiet, dark surroundings for star gazing and was a perfect distance to the town of Terlingua and Big Bend!

Great location as a base camp for a family outing to Big Bend National Park. About 15 minutes to the start of Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive and 45 minutes to Panther Junction. The space is clean, and has what a family of 4 needs for a great trip. Terlingua has lots of food options, making it a great location to bed down each night. Bed is super comfortable and the kitchen has all the amenities you need. The host provides some great recommendations for food and is quick to respond with anything you need.

Enchanting Desert Retreat in Big Bend

LottieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was restful, private, secluded and restorative. We appreciated it being off the beaten path. My best friend and I are lucky to have landed on the perfect place to stay during our trip to Big Bend. The windows by the bed had us star-gazing our way to sleep. We even preferred our outhouse "back home" to most restroom options at the National park. If you plan on staying at Blue Moon, be mindful that the palm tree by the camper has 3 bird's nests; so don't be alarmed by them or alarm them at night :)

Phil's place is truly a magical setting! We sat on the porch for hours taking in the sunset and sky as evening descended. We were visited by an owl, who landed on the small "tree" that had string lights on it! It was amazingly peaceful and serene.
