Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

Retro Rents Painted Ladies, Betty

NiravRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a great spot to stay while visiting the Big Bend area. The RVs are fun and match the personality of the area. If you drive an electric vehicle (Tesla or other), this is an EXCELLENT spot to stay. They have NEMA 14-50 outlet and all you have to do is bring your charging cable. Made it super convenient and easy to visit the park and the entire area in my EV. The location is perfect: right in the middle of Terlingua, walking distance from the taco place and Starlight. It's just off a paved road that goes through town. The Park is not far (depending on which part you're going to). Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Big Bend.

Greatly enjoyed our time at the RV. Great night skies for stargazing. Even got some Milky Way shots! Easy to find. Very remote, but plenty of other people nearby. Also saw some wildlife during our stay. Very relaxing.

The Flamingo RV w/ Great Views + Patio

YadiraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Flamingo RV was a great stay for myself, my boyfriend, and our fur baby. I loved the decor and the RV was well equipped with everything we might need including seasonings for the burgers we grilled up outside! The foldable reclining chairs were perfect for lounging, watching the sunset after a long day of hiking, and stargazing. The one thing missing was the dog enclosure included in the listing BUT Rick explained that a storm had blown it away (happens) and that wasn’t a big deal for Nipsey, he enjoyed just hanging out with us and exploring around the RV. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would gladly rebook in the future! Thanks again y’all!

The Bus Stop was a great place to stay, you are between Lajitas and Terlingua so you have flexibility on where to go and your about 1 hr from the Chisos Basin. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

RV2 - rv NOT included - Tin Valley Retro Rentals

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place for price! We enjoyed the surrounding Mountain View. Ronda was sooo kind and helpful with everything we need. Our only downfall was the private shower house and cracked water tank for the RV but hey, it’s the dessert! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thankful for the stay. Highly recommend.

Don’t hesitate to book! No detail was missed. The personal touches, from organic tea to the lovely scented shampoo, were truly appreciated. The view out the window in the morning was priceless. The bed was so comfortable and the space was private. We are sad to leave this retreat and rerun to our busy lives. I would recommend this stay a hundred times over.

We really enjoyed staying off the grid in an RV. Esteban is an attentive host. Be aware you must supply all water for cooking, drinking as it is not supplied. Unless you want to boil your water.

Big Bend views from Terlingua ghost town

RoseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here for a week and loved it! It’s the perfect location if you are wanting to hike around Big Bend. The description of how close they are to restaurants, ghost town and the local hangouts is very accurate. We are not big on going out but the set up here is perfect for those who like quiet peaceful morning and evenings. The place was equipped with a small kitchen inside and a grill with outdoor kitchen type area. So we cooked a lot which is a nice break from eating out. Then relaxed and enjoyed the view from practically every angle of the porch and yard.
Port-a-potties are positioned against a backdrop of expansive desert landscape, framed by scattered vegetation and distant mountains. The sky is adorned with soft, colorful clouds. Nearby, a rustic wooden structure and teepees are visible, enhancing the natural setting.

Koala trailer Trailer, 10 minutes to Big Bend

DuaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Everything was just as promised. Outdoor kitchen was a great feature—avoided heating up the living space. We fixed all our meals here. Outdoor bathroom was great and well constructed, including a bidet that made it easy to refrain from flushing toilet paper. Hot water lasts longer inside the trailer than in the adobe shower. We will stay here on any return.

The Bodega

GraceRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely time at Brent and Mindy’s RV! It was very calm and peaceful with a beautiful view over the mountains! The stars were incredible! It is about a 40 minute drive down a dirt road from Terlingua, but with a small SUV it was completely accessible. As you’re a bit isolated from the city center, it’s always a good idea to bring a flashlight and a few basic necessities with you. Brent and Mindy were very communicative and helpful with their instructions. Everything you’ll need to know about the RV is clearly explained in the manual on arrival. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay again!
