“Surely the best turned out Potting Shed in England”.... from Alastair Sawday’s book “Go Slow England”. The ‘Potting Shed’ is completely separate to our own 400-year-old family home. As guests you have your own entrance door and key to enable you to come and go as you please. It is a charming, safe and secure, quietly situated double room with modern en-suite. Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips.
