Staying at ‘Tante Hannas Hus’ in Leirgulen was such an amazing experience! It’s the perfect spot if you love being surrounded by nature and want to feel completely off-grid. The house was spotless and so cozy, we felt instantly at home! Siri & Asle were absolutely incredible hosts and made our Christmas so special. They went out of their way to help us, even doing a grocery shop before we arrived since the shops were closed for the holidays. On Christmas Day, they took us on an amazing hike and let us cut down our own Christmas tree from their land. They even provided decorations, which was such a lovely touch! If you’re looking for a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path getaway with amazing hosts, this is the place. I couldn’t recommend it more and would love to come back! :)

our stay was MAGICAL!! every day my partner and i were in disbelief at how beautiful the surroundings were— everywhere you looked there were waterfalls, gorgeous forest, and of course the beautiful fjord and full view of Hornelen! you won’t believe it until you see for yourself. the house was spectacular and so cozy and felt like a fairytale—it was a dream house! we cooked easily every day, slept in the comfiest bed ever (truly), and enjoyed the most breathtaking view of the fjord. finally, Gunnhild was the person that made our trip so special. we had such a warm welcome from her, she was so responsive and friendly and helpful, and she even brought us delicious cinnamon buns twice! we will never forget her kindness and hospitality and hope to return to Lofnes many times in the future to stay here!

We had an amazing stay at this Norwegian hytte! The location is breathtakingly beautiful, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The quiet surroundings made for restful nights, with comfortable beds and a hot shower to enjoy after a day of exploring. We loved the wood-fired hot tub, kayak, and fishing gear that added to the fun and unforgettable experience. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was plenty of space for our luggage. The price was fair, and it's easily the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. We would definitely book again!

The apartment was nicely located, with walking distance to Knutholmen and shops. It was also very well equipped and tastefully furnished. Easy check in and good communication with the host.

We just left this place and already miss… Ole is a wonderful host, so many recommendations, very warm welcoming and his place was AWESOME! Fishing in the area is good, we have made our super fresh dinners by ourselves 😁 don’t think, just book! Thank you so much, Ole! The home is absolutely gorgeous. The surroundings are incomparable. The cottage is secluded from others but only a few kilometers from a small shop where everything you need is located. It has everything you could need. A perfect paradise to get close to nature. Hiking trails and activities are plentiful for those who like it. For those who just want to take it easy, it's just as perfect. 10/10. Roger always responded super fast and extremely generous. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommend renting the cabin!
