Cabin vacation rentals in Break O'Day Council

The cabin is an absolutely gorgeous space and has everything you would need to enjoy your time in Derby. It’s been really thoughtfully put together - and that morning sun in the living and kitchen area is divine! Julia is a responsive and helpful host - when we reached out with some questions she quickly responded and sorted out what we needed.

Wow, wow, wow…we have just left Whale Song behind but will always have a little place in our hearts. We had such a special stay with our 19 month old, slow mornings on the deck, bacon sandwiches on the little private beach at the bottom of house, afternoons collecting shells at the lagoon- the perfect slow and relaxing holiday! The place was just beautiful and a gorgeous shack to unwind in.

great place to stay. this is the second time I've stayed in one of dions places. this place is all about the location. amazing hot tub. beautiful forest and river.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mannaburne Cabin. Little hard to get to at first and the last bit of road is certainly a bit of a challenge but once we got there we were thrilled with it. Beautiful tranquil setting and the cabin itself is stunning the way it is set up. Very tastefully decorated and everything provided that you need for a comfartable stay. Fully functinable kitchen and comfy bed. Massive shower and good water pressure. The only thing for us that let it down a bit was the garden around it that doesn't seem to get looked after any more and the fact that the outside couch (which would he really lovely to lay on and relax) doesn't get covered and obviously little and large animals go and use it as their toilet......hence quite smelly and not that pleasant. Also found the windows and doors quite dirty. Anyway.....all in all had a wonderful stay there and would recommend it to everyone.

We loved our stay at this cosy cottage in Binalong Bay. It had everything we needed for a relaxed family getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and really well set up, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of thoughtful touches. It had a great warm, welcoming feel and was perfect for coming back to after a day at the beach or exploring the Bay of Fires. The location was ideal, close to beautiful beaches and local walks but nice and quiet too. It was exactly what we were looking for — easy, comfortable, and stress-free. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Sandra's place suits us perfectly. Peaceful, private, extremely beautiful beach, with all amenities we could need. It's become our relaxation retreat. Sandra is a considerate and friendly host. Nil negatives.

The stay was great, just what we needed. Rosie was really warm as well, she welcomed us and showed us around. The massage chair and the jacuzzi was definitely the highlight of our stay on top of a really well done interior, artefacts and toys.

loved it - huge space - lots of light - super comfortable beds / linen etc. will absolutely be trying to book this place again next time we come to Derby. would have stayed longer if we could have!

We absolutely loved Rosie’s place. The cabin was gorgeous and clean - very comfy for our whole family! And the shared outdoor kitchen and seating area was so cool! A place we really wanted to hang out. Rosie provided a porta-cot and high chair for our toddler, which was so nice. And we loved visiting the chickens each day! Would highly recommend!

We had 2 great nights staying in the cabin, such a peaceful spot with wonderful views of the ocean and bush. It’s just a 3-minute drive to Bicheno town and a short drive to Freycinet, making it a perfect base to explore the area. Cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!
