We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. The addition of turf for the fires which we lit easily was wonderful. Comfortable cosy bedrooms and bedding. Peaceful, stress free and a beautiful cottage and orchard.

Charming cottage in the grounds of Killua Castle

LydiaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Lovely cottage in a beautiful area with a great view! Very peaceful and loved seeing the animals- especially the calves. Inside was nice and clean and had a good kitchen with basics. The fire in the sitting room was easy to light which was great. The lack of a tv was nice as there was no distraction from the trip. Also, comfy bed. Thank you!

Beach in 8 mins, pub in 5

SaraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Highly recommend staying at Declan's if you get the chance! The property is a lovely clean spacious house close to a beautiful beach and a short drive to all the amenities you could want, as well as lots of places to visit and things to do in the south east of Ireland. The fireplace in the living area is a real focal point of the property, and makes the space so cosy. We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: we had all the pots and pans needed to cook as if we were at home. Declan himself is a fantastic host - super responsive, friendly and helpful. Everything was so easy and it was a joy to stay there. Thank you, Declan!

Modern 3-bed Home Close to Airport, City & Beaches

SheilaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We spent a few days here and enjoyed our stay. Julia and Ionela were very responsive and helpful. Their was plenty of seating in the living room and the kitchen for the number of people in our party, which was nice. We loved the dog across the street which seemed to be to cutest neighborhood watch you have ever seen.

We stayed here as a group of 23 girls for a hen. The house was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for such a big group. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. A brilliant location so close to Kilkenny. Mary was so lovely and helpful throughout the entire process and couldn’t have done any more for us!

Amazing views, The Granary

JoshRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved staying at the Granary. Sanchia was the best, she welcomed us with fresh scones and a nice note (as we came in on Easter). She was adorable, her place is adorable, and is in just beautiful scenery all around. We both would highly recommend the stay whenever you can. Also the fact you're staying in a spot of history for when it was built. Truly incredible.
