Cottage vacation rentals in Branch County

We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Shannon's place was very clean and comfortable. Sitting on the deck or in the hot tub, looking out over the lake was very relaxing. Hope to go back soon!

The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Don's cottage. Plenty of space for four people, and the kitchen had much of what we needed. The area was quiet and easy to get to, both from the road and the lake, via the channel. We brought our own boat. I would recommend renting Don's if you don't have one. Don was very responsive leading up to and during our stay. We would defintiely come back.

Had an amazing stay at this airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Samantha was super friendly and responsive. Perfect for long of short term stays. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to visit the area.

This was our second stay here. We're very happy with everything. Melissa is very accommodating and the cottage is very comfortable.

We were able to find the location easily by following the directions provided. Easy access and not too far from Hillsdale College, which is why we were in town, for Parents Weekend. We were busy and gone most of the time, but we slept well on the comfortable bed, appreciated the charger setup by the bed for all our devices, and also appreciated how well-stocked the bathroom is (in the cabinet). Nice and warm once we turned up the heat. It was freezing outside, and we are not accustomed to MI cold weather, but the place stayed cozy warm for us. Very nice laundry area also. Thanks for the nice stay!

The host was very quick to respond and so helpful with accommodating a couple changes we made! The cottage is in a fantastic spot!

Kelly was amazing to work with and always responded in a timely manner. The house from the front may look small but was quite spacious and had good size bedrooms and several bathrooms. I would 100% recommend it for any family trip, girls/guys trip or whatever your needs might be.

enjoyed our stay, very clean. perfectly located on the river, easy access to get to all the lakes. really enjoyed the back yard sitting there and watching all the boats cruise by when we was not on the lake our selves.

Our group of ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lake house was private, quiet, and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on either the swings or rocking chairs overlooking the lake while having coffee and watching the sunrise. At night we enjoyed the firepit or the large table in the kitchen to play games or do puzzles. The large kitchen was stocked with everything necessary to make a large meal. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The 3.5 bathrooms made it easy to share with other people. We were there in October, so the extra blankets in the closets were appreciated! We'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy kayaking on the lake.
