You’ll love my place because of its homely feel - lots of guests have commented that they feel at home in Chapel House, its fabulous aspect and its magical character. My place is perfect for couples and families. Its open-plan design cultivates holiday togetherness. Relaxation comes easily here. My village has two lovely pubs. Tudor Cottage would have been the brewhouse, the brewhouse was used for baking and cheese making as well as brewing This lovely old stone cottage has been recently renovated and independently attached to Tudor House, which is one of the oldest buildings in Brassington, the cottage is situated in Matlock.

Meticulously transformed from the original cattle stalls into a modern, rustic two-bed, two-bath cottage in 2023, it retains the character of the original building. From this rural location on the Peak District National Park boundary, there are breathtaking valley views across Bradbourne Brook, while the barn is just a 10-minute drive from Ashbourne.

Our cottage is self contained and attached to our house. The gardens are shared with us but are very spacious. There is a sunken hot tub in the garden. Set in a tranquil Peak District village with local pub, there's a small shop in the pub that's open during pub opening hours. Perfect location for walkers, climbers or cyclists and there are several lovely National Trust houses, including Chatsworth, within easy driving distance. Ashbourne is our local market town.
