Centreview Downtown #1

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Barbara was a great host - she was very responsive and welcoming! The apartment was close to everything, including walking distance to anywhere in downtown Danville and Centre College. The layout is very efficient and everything was quite clean. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with any cooking needs/appliances you might need. We especially appreciated how quiet the interior is - despite being in the middle of town. The beds are especially comfortable and the bathroom is updated and bright.

The Nook at Castaway Farm

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were doing a bourbon tour in Frankfort, but wanted to focus more of our time exploring Harrodsburg and Shaker Village, so Sharon's place was in the perfect location for a quiet retreat with our little dog. We haven't lived in the country for years, so it was wonderful to view the Pink Moon with a beautiful sky full of stars, and enjoy the amazing sunrise the following morning. It was pretty chilly when we were there, but the electric fireplace was a wonderful addition. The lovely little bistro table outside is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, or a glass of wine or bourbon in the evening. I highly recommend, but pay attention when navigating our Kentucky country roads, as some of them are pretty narrow. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.
A comfortable living area features a large sectional sofa adorned with patterned cushions. A round ottoman with a geometric design sits in the center, complemented by a textured area rug. Neutral tones and warm lighting create an inviting space for relaxation.

Historic building, close to the bourbon trail.

TylerRating, 5 stars10 months ago
James's place is very unique and well decorated! The location cannot be beat as it is within walking distance of downtown and near many restaurants. My company used this space for some out of town guests in the past and they requested to stay here this time, as well. James was an excellent host and I hope to be able to use his space again.

The Guest House

a.Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the best places we have ever stayed. Stocked kitchen (appliances, salt and paper, spray oil… everything you need to cook quick meals), thoughtful touches (games, extra sheets and covers, lots of towels) and lots of smalls details. Spotless home. Second bedroom is upstairs, ideal (and fun) for kids (not for older folks -stairs). I will stay here again and again.
The exterior of a single-story home features a bright red metal roof contrasting with the light-colored siding. A covered front porch is seen, offering steps leading to the entrance, framed by a well-maintained lawn and scattered trees in the background.

The Cuttawa Lake House

SueRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had 3 couples exploring the Bourbon Trail and friendships. It was a perfect place for us. The view was beautiful. We made each other dinner one night along with some old fashioneds and talked and laughed. We knew we’d have a little drive to some of the distilleries but that was half the fun. Thanks for contributing to our memories!

We had a great visit and loved being surrounded by rolling hills and horses. Within 10 minutes of groceries and restaurants in Danville, but felt like we had our own secluded spot. Communication was great and the host was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely visit again!

Paps Place

JohnRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This is a quiet, clean and restful place to stay overlooking a farm. Toni has done a beautiful job decorating an old farmhouse that has been in her family for many years. You may even occasionally hear cows or a rooster! We loved being so close to Danville (McDowell House and the Dollhouse Museum), Shaker Village, and the Trappist Monastery. We'd love to come back someday and go on some of the distillery tours. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!
