Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Box Hill

Our 2 month stay was really great experience. Sharon is very responsible and has a lot of good advice on places to visit. The house is clean and the garden is lovely. It's fully equipped, which makes life much easier. The only inconvenient is the noise of the traffic in front of the house, especially in the front bedroom, as we were not used to city environments.

We spent two months in Lorraine's property and loved every minute. There was everything we needed, Lorraine was very helpful, always responding quickly to any problems and resolving things for us. Lorraine is friendly and the house is exactly as in the photos and in a very quiet location. We had hired a car so the shops were easily accessible and the Frog Hollow reserve was very close by. Lorraine had prepared all the information we needed and we will definitely be hoping to return on our next visit to Australia. Thank you Lorraine and hope to see you again.

A very enjoyable stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The location is great, well within walking distance to the city and right by the South Melbourne markets. Would definitely stay again and recommend others giving it a look!

Absolutely loved our stay at Olinda Woods Retreat! Emma was incredible throughout every stage with excellent communication and going above and beyond. She included lovely breakfast provisions (also catering to dietary requirements). Emma's dad popped by to welcome us and did an incredible job making the gardens look immaculate! We had some photos taken for an elopement style wedding and were absolutely thrilled with the accommodation and gardens! Can't wait to return, hopefully for our 1 year anniversary next May!

Helen and Eric's place is very cosy and you immediately feel like at home. Everything is clean and well organised. Location is great, close to te main road and tram. Communication with Helen and Eric was fantastic and clear so no need to bother them. We really enjoyed our 4 days stay at their place and we will come back again for sure ! I will recommend their place too !

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

We loved our stay at Chian’s apartment. It had everything we needed plus the little extras like the selection of children’s toys and books made it feel very welcoming. Spotlessly clean, great location with parking and lovely views of the city. We would certainly look to stay again next time we’re in Melbourne.

We had a lovely stay. Will be certain to return. The Elwood neighbourhood is our favourite in Melbourne. It is heavily treed, peaceful and walking distance to the beach, St Kilda Botanical Gardens as well as the shops in Elwood Village.

First of all, this place is one of best airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Melbourne and I use a new airbnb every month for work. Way better than the photos. Furthermore, Jon is an incredible host, we accidentally left our phone in the airbnb two hours before our flight and he left a function to come and help us. I can’t praise him enough. Thank you Jon! The place is great, very clean and Steve is a great host. Steve is extremey responsive and considerate. The house is very close to nature and we really enjoyed the spa specially our son. The only thing that could be improvide is the kitchen and its preparedness to host guests who plan to cook for exemple having more utensilis.

House was big & spacious. Enough room for all of us. It was in nice & quiet neighbourhood. Good 25 minutes ride to city. Good host.
