Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bova Marina

We stayed 4 nights in the flat and went on day trips to Syracusa, Taormina and Etna. First, the flat is confortable, with every bedrooms having shower and toilets. The living room/kitchen is big enough to have breakfast but not enough confortable if you plan to stay the all day inside. Secondly, but up to me, it is well decorated with upcycled stuff. Finally, the flat is well located. Lots of restaurants and bar near by. And few minutes walking from main touristic area. Stazione centrale might be a little bit far away.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

Excellent hosting by Tiziana, the accommodation is perfect, very clean and functional. Full of small touches from Tiziana, we made fresh orange juice, the kids loved it. Very good coffee. We visited Capo Milazzo and took a trip to Stromboli, the location of the accommodation is perfect. Private parking for car. Small supermarket 30 seconds walk if needed. Thanks a lot

The apartment has a fantastic secluded location (with the landlords) in the mountains. The views from the garden are beautiful. In 2-3 km you are on Monte Ogliastro or Monte Veneretta, from where you can overlook the whole region. Fantastic! The terrace is large and completely fenced. Then comes the parking lot and then the beautiful fenced garden. The cats were very nice and there were no problems with the dog. Unfortunately, the cats were all very, very thin, at least 3 had severe diarrhea. The turtles in the garden had very bleak small enclosures and the dog was often locked away on the balcony. Unfortunately, pets usually have a bad life in Sicily. That made the vacation sad.

The location is good in the center, you can walk to the places to visit and the station.The two-room and one-room are very spacious with utensils and pots, coffee maker and coffee maker, and our family of three also made simple cooking.The furniture is very vintage, the building is also very vintage and there is an elevator for luggage, and the small balcony is also very atmospheric, although we are useless, it meets my expectations, if I come to Catania next time, I will choose this place.The only thing was that we arrived very early, but the check in was at 15:00 and waited outside for a long time.

Roberta and her husband were very nice and reliable hosts. We arrived late at night with a delay of over 1 hour, and they waited for us on site. The written communication was great, personally possible with Google Translate, yet everything was well explained, everything was understood. Water and some fruit in the fridge was a nice welcome gesture. Everything necessary was on site. The view from the terrace is worth every penny. We were able to sit outside longer, there were no mosquitoes. The air conditioning was in every room and it worked perfectly. The parking is in front of the house. Local large supermarket can be reached in 5 minutes drive. The pebble beaches around are very clean, the water totally clear. We enjoyed our time with Roberta very much and are more than happy to recommend her.

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Best place we have stayed in italy,and we have been going for several years. Marco was very attentive and helpful.. A real gem.

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a lovely stay for 3 days in October. Apartment is really nice and modern. We visited Etna 2 times. It is about 45 min by car to Etna South. We had a nice stay, many thanks

We loved the house of Jaco, it had an amazing view and is super quiet. We made an phenomenal BBQ outside on the grill. We will come back for sure. Felt like home.

Outstanding place, just out of the city so it was peaceful, but close enough to be in the centre within minutes (we hired a scooter). The compound itself felt incredibly secure and was beautiful to relax in. Girlfriend fell in love with the cats on the property which were very friendly but not constantly around us. The pool was a great way to wake up every morning but the real espresso machine was an authentic and lovely touch. It is right next to the main street to get into town, which had a fair amount of traffic but the property had a fantastic garden which concealed you away from it, so we honestly didn't really notice the noise. All in all, I would recommend this listing to anyone, and will certainly return if we find ourselves in that part of the island again. 10/10

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

We spent a 10 day vacation here as a group of friends. Already upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the beauty of property and surroundings: located in the beautiful lemon grove overlooking the slopes of Mount Etna and the sea. It couldn't get any better! Boredom never arose, the area offers a lot! However, a car is important. There was also always something to do on the property: beautiful pool, ping pong table, foosball, football or cooking in the great kitchen... and always fresh lemons. Maria Gulia and Angelo are super friendly and often helped us with tips and quick answers. The villa is an absolute recommendation!!

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Our stay in Sicily was truly unforgettable! The house had a beautiful character, filled with charming details that made it feel like a home. The garden was a stunning oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm Sicilian evenings. Our host, Carlo, was exceptional—always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The highlight of our trip was the incredible five-course Sicilian dinner Carlo organized for us, showcasing the region's delicious cuisine. Each dish was a delight! The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the island!

Roberto was a very friendly, helpful host who was always available to us for questions. The property itself is a 15-minute walk from the city center and 5 minutes from a few good restaurants. It is equipped with everything necessary. For 4 people, the accommodation is perfect, we would still recommend it for up to 6 people, for more people the kitchen/dining room could be very tight and there is only one shared bathroom with toilet. We enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime.

Very nice, incredibly quiet yet central place to stay. Well-equipped kitchen, Paola kindly provides coffee, tea, spices and more. Comfortable beds. Very private garden, very quiet at night (we traveled in February). We parked the car in the parking lot next door for a fee, we found this option suitable for us. All in all a direct hit and wonderful place.

Beautiful location, apartment with sea and mountain view. Very comfortable bed. Car can be parked at the door. A small and charming town. The perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and a good starting point. I would come back:)

Robert was always very easy to reach and he took care of all the little problems immediately. The garden of the house with the view of Mount Etna is simply a dream and it is well located for excursions to Catania, Taormina, the Alcantara Gorge or Mount Etna. Everything was clean and we felt right at home. Unfortunately, the surroundings are very run down and many things are empty. You won't find a nice beach promenade or inviting restaurants by the sea here - instead, you're already sitting on busy roads in the low season. But of course that has nothing to do with the house, which we can only recommend.
