Vacation rentals with beach access in Bova Marina

The listing was located in a quaint village that included great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We took advantage of the seaside for our walks. Very good location. Less than two hours from the accommodation we could visit the places (Siracus, Ortigia, Catania, Agrigento, Mount Etna CE) recommended to visit Sicily. Thank you Antonietta for hosting us!

The access to the accommodation was a bit surprising at the end of May as you have to drive through a small stream to get to the end of the road. The entrance to the free underground garage is also a bit bumpy and it is recommended to unload the car beforehand at the apartment if it does not have high tires. But once you arrive, the accommodation is really impeccable with a beautiful view of the sea. You can hear the sea rushing at night and can sleep with the window open without hesitation. You can also get to the beach directly from the apartment via a small staircase. The place was one of the cleanest I've ever experienced. The unfortunately often neglected mocha pot for making coffee was really clean. You can easily reach all public transport as well as small bakeries and shops on foot. Since you can use a free parking space, excursions by car are always easy. The place is really highly recommended.

The apartment is located next to Piazza del Duomo, so most attractions could be reached on foot - the bus and train stations are about 20 minutes' walk away - due to the location, it was a bit noisy in the evenings. Communication with the owners was perfect, they always responded within a few minutes, additionally providing recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The apartment is on the second floor, which can be reached by elevator, which in our case with a child was very helpful. Hosts also provided access to a crib and a child seat. A really successful stay 😊

We had a wonderful stay in Mazzaro at Rocco's property! Shortly after we booked a few months ago Rocco informed us that unfortunately the owners of this property needed it during our dates but he kindly offered his other property only a 2 minute walk away instead. For reference the property and listing is called (Luxury apartment and charm sea view Isola Bella). It was absolutely wonderful with the best view of the Baia di Sant'Andrea, just opposite Isola Bella. Less than 5 minute walk to both beaches and cable car up to Taormina. The property consists of both a downstairs and upstairs unit. Both were clean and the washroom downstairs newly renovated. My only small criticism is that Rocco uses an AI chatbot to help communicate with guests, so you will always get a response from "him" quickly, but the information might not be totally accurate. He would however always correct 'himself' within 24 hours. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, it is so beautiful!

Valeria’s place is absolutely worth the hype and so is she! She went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. She greeted us at check-in, let us drop our bags early, and even gave us a ride to our boat excursion. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, the place was spotless, and the views were unreal. The location is perfect: beach access, mini marts, the Mazzarò Sea Palace for drinks or dinner, and just a 3-minute walk to the cable car that takes you straight into Taormina. On the first night, my sister and I mistakenly ordered an Uber to town for 27 euros and ended up walking 30 minutes back down. Do not do what we did. The cable car only costs about 10 euros round trip. On checkout, Valeria helped us get a taxi and even gave me duct tape when my suitcase ripped. She truly thinks of everything. From the peaceful sounds of the birds to the stunning sea views, this stay will stick with you forever.

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! Unfortunately, we only spent one night at Marcos' apartment and will definitely come back again. The apartment is very spacious and excellently equipped, so you can plan a longer stay here very well. In general, it is worth visiting Messina, the city surprised us a lot. From the living room and bedroom, you have a sea view and can watch the ships. A bus stop in front of the door of the well-kept house makes the arrival and departure to the train station or port quite comfortable. We will definitely be back and thank you for the warm, personal welcome!

I stayed in the apartment for one week and really enjoyed it. Being so close to the sea was really relaxing. Maria was always responsive and gave a lot of useful information. I recommend this place.

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

All in all there will be absolutely a fabulous house if you want to visit Catania. Firstly, the position of this house is great, there are numerous local restaurants you can choose like seafood, pasta, and pizza. Secondly, Alfio’s father is a great man, he is famous in this place:) he will recommend the restaurants and scenic spots for you. Coincidentally, on the second day of our arrival, we witnessed the eruption of Etna Volcano. With the help of Mario, we were able to safely visit Etna on the third day. By the way, if you drive to here, you’d better to message Mario before 30mins arrive, because google map will give you a wrong road to the house and you cannot enter the main road due to the ZTL.

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, with problems, and with the transfer of our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, as it feels almost directly on the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

This was a truly wonderful spot and stay. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Gorgeous views and a terrific host.

Barbara was an excellent host and we loved her home: we rented the entire home for our family (adult kids and partners, plus my husband and I) and it was perfect for everyone. The house has a fantastic view of Isola Bella, stairs to the beach are just few steps from the house, and there’s a parking lot just across the street (if you are driving be ready for very narrow streets ;) with cars, scooters and people all together). Barbara was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment I booked and even more when we arrived. She communicated constantly with me. I highly recommend her place to feel at home waking up to a gorgeous, peaceful view. And there’s lot to do in Taormina and the surroundings. Fantastic trip, we already miss it …

We spent a great week at Marcello's place. It is a beautiful property with a charming garden and super friendly cats. Marcello was very helpful and attentive. Gave us very helpful tips and recommendations. We definitely recommend and we enjoyed every minute! Kitchen has all the essentials. Plus, an outdoor space for cooking and dining. There's a nice beach club with crystal clear water nearby, only 5min walk. Having car at this location is recommended- there are many places to discover and the garden has a secured parking.

It was beautiful, the apartment is very centrally located to the city center of Acireale where you can eat and drink well, about 30 minutes' walk to the train station with which you are well connected. The apartment is very nicely decorated and has everything necessary and you can relax very well inside - as well as outside on the terrace with beautiful views relax. gladly come back ;))

The house is amazing, everything is very new. High quality appliances and utensils. The host is very kind and accessible.

We had a great time here, Salvatore was very helpful and responsive. The place was a great spot to visit the surrounding towns and find easier parking compared to the rest of the town. The place has a lovely private access to a nice cove.

We enjoyed our stay at Angelo’s apartment which was very comfortable , a good sized balcony, & a good view looking out to the sea.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

Riccardo and his co-host were great! They greeted us at the property and gave us advice on how to do everything we wanted in Catania. The space was wonderful and very clean. I highly recommend coming to stay here if you’re coming to Catania!

Well-located accommodation, close to Catania, Etna, and 1 hour from Taormina. A little out of the tourist center, but several restaurants nearby in Aci Trezza. Excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants by our hosts. Very nice welcome by Julia, many recommendations and detailed information. Accommodation a little cramped if you imagine staying at 4, but ideal for 2 people! Perfect equipment, with beach essentials, umbrellas if needed, etc.

Would go again (but with a few things to consider)! The area isn’t quiet. The bedrooms are on a street that is a bit noisy at times (cars/vespas). This makes a full nights sleep without waking up at all hard, really hard. Easily the biggest downside with the apartment. Aside from that, the village is wonderful and the view is amazing. The weather in Sicily tends to be good and sunny, but if not, the living room is small for four people. I hate to complain since we loved it but these things are good to know about. Free parking, big bedrooms, very big balcony and a great view is the best things about the apartment.
