The Cottage

Beautiful rural two-storey gîte in ancient Normandy Long House in tranquil location close to Carentan, Utah Beach and D-Day Experience Museum. Located in the Les Marais Natural Park, surrounded by wildlife including horses, hares, and herons. Beautiful swimming pool open end May to end August. You will have access to a games room with a pool table and ping pong. We are unable to accommodate pets. Please also check out our other adjacent gîte - called 'Les Etables' or 'The Stables'.

It is in the central wing dating from the 17th century that we offer you 400 m2 of history, travel, reverie and poetry. Delphine and Didier welcome you to their historic property La Princerie, located in the quiet countryside in Sainte Marie du Mont. You will find restaurants, bars and shops within a 10-minute walk. Its main reputation is that it was the first village liberated in June 1944. You can visit its beautiful church. Utah landing beach is just a few kilometers away, a huge stretch of sand where you can walk. Not suitable for children under 12.

In a 17th century manor, an independent part welcomes you. Spacious rooms with period features. Green and rejuvenating setting. The accommodation offers 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 4 people, and a bathroom. A living/dining room. A mini fridge and a microwave, a kettle and a coffee maker as well as plates and cutlery are at your disposal. Ideally located 5 km from Utah Beach, you will be immersed in the history of the landings.

Nestled in the heart of the private garden of the “Château de La Germonière”, le Relais des Cascades is a charming house with a wonderful outlook on the famous waterfalls. Fully renovated in 2024, this 90 sqm house proposes a high quality service on 2 floors and will accommodate up to 4 persons for an unforgettable stay. The house is a 15 min drive from the sea and 35 min drive for the D-Day beaches.

Meet with family or friends in an old presbytery (1863) completely renovated in 2019. Located in the Marais du Cotentin and Bessin Natural Park, close to Ste Mère Eglise and the landing beaches (Utah Beach), our cottage is traditionally furnished with all the comforts of a fitted kitchen, a very large terrace and a 1500 m² plot. We will gladly host you in our green countryside where you can fully rest.

Bedroom (140); an entrance with bunk bed (90) and in the living room sofa bed (140); equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet garden, barbecue, garden furniture. sheets and towels can be provided on request with an extra charge
