With the Cumbrian Way and footpaths located near to the property, enthusiastic walkers can explore the stunning countryside, pet the goats and sheep and enjoy Coniston Water, which is only a few miles from The Cottage.

A stunning 200 year-old cottage located in the charming small village of Bouth in the Lake District, now a UNESCO world heritage region. Situated on a quiet country road and bounded on two sides by open fields, with grazing shire horses and Jersey cows, this is the idyllic country retreat. The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. Breathtaking natural scenery awaits you from the doorway.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Wren Cottage, lake access, pet-friendly

Next to pretty Torver beck and with lake frontage to the quiet western shore of Coniston Water, this is the perfect place for a 'get-away-from-it-all' break. Originally part of an old mill building, Wren is beautifully refurbished but retains lots of character. Surrounded by fantastic scenery on all sides you don't need to go far to enjoy the beauty of the Lakes. Stroll down to the lake to sit and unwind, walk up onto the Common for amazing views, or explore the lake and island by canoe.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.

It has all the amenities you would require and is perfectly located to explore as much of the area as you desire. We are located in the quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for cycling and walking holidays.

Drakes Cottage

Drakes Cottage is situated within the courtyard of a former 18th century coaching stables. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

Fell View Cottage

Set in the fabulous Woodland valley close to Coniston. Fell View Cottage is the perfect place to relax, & unwind . The cottage has 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a comfortable living room & a fully equipped kitchen. We allow a maximum of 4 guests including children. Up to two dogs are welcome at Fell View Cottage. There is a charge of £5 per dog per night payable through Airbnb. Stuart & Lynda look forward to welcoming you.

Our lovely cosy Lakeland cottage is situated in the tiny village of Haverthwaite, just 3 miles to the foot of Lake Windermere. Home to a Vintage Steam Railway, you can catch a train to Lakeside in season and cruise the Lake on a steamer and take in some of the most beautiful views in the world. With a village green, playground and perfect location you can explore the wonderful Lake District and all its attractions.
