The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Short walk to across the road to private rock beach where you will enjoy enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. The property is a large cleared area surrounded by crown land on 3 sides. Endless hiking trails and beautiful landscape to explore. Pets welcome but must remain on leash and cleaned up after. We have a friendly dog on the property, Charlie.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You wake up from your antique bedroom suite pour a cup of coffee and walk out onto the deck to look over the beach below beyond the waters of Kootenay lake. Kayaks, Paddle boards and a Pedal boat or a little fishing as well. There are quite a few books here perhaps pick one and lie on the beach in that comfy lounger. Twenty minutes up the lake is Kokanee Springs golf course. Your neighbour above the beach is an Eagle Family.
