This is a cabin with electricity, but without running water. The water is collected from a water supply point 60 meters from the cabin and carried into the cabin. In the cabin there is an internal pumping system that provides water in the bathroom and kitchen, as well as in the shower. The toilet itself is a built-in outdoor toilet. There is a lot of children's equipment at the cottage such as a high chair, baby bed, sled, sledge and lots of games inside. Everything is there to be used :) A campfire pan can be set out. The waffle iron for the fire pit is in the outdoor shed. Firewood is included in the rent

Cozy family cabin

Cozy cabin at Bortelid. Here you can relax and enjoy the nice view, or take long trips on skis or on foot. We use the cabin ourselves when it suits us. We have locked off a bedroom on the first floor for private belongings, otherwise you can use the entire cabin. The cabin consists of a bathroom, 1 bedroom and a living room/kitchen on the 1st floor. In the attic there are 2 bedrooms, a small attic room and a small toilet. There is also a bed-brisque with the possibility to sleep on. You have to clean the cabin yourself. Very special and completed log house in Setesdal style. The house has shoreline towards Otra and spectacular views of Reiårsfossen waterfall which is close by. Make a good dinner in the large kitchen in the house or see if the kids dare to swim in the slightly cold river. Take the car up or down Setesdalen and visit various action attractions or experience the view and silence up the hill. In the evening you can enjoy birds singing and sleep in built-in, rose-painted beds. Note: We usually arrange free/flexible check-in and checkout!

In the summer, you can rent a wide range of equipment for various activities. Great store and café nearby! If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy yourself then this is the place. The cabin is centrally located at Løyningsknodden on Bortelid. High standard with sauna, hot tub and large south-facing terrace with good view. The cabin is spacious and has 10 beds in 4 bedrooms plus a TV room with a sofa bed. In addition, there is room on the loft for two/three on a flat bed. A well-equipped kitchen with coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. Private laundry room with dryer, washing machine and drying cabinet covers most needs. It is possible to charge an electric car on the property.
