This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

What an amazing house, dog friendly, too! Perfect location for our family wedding. Frances was most helpful and very accommodating. Will stay again next time we visit family in Holmbridge.

We had a wonderful stay at Hill Too Farm. Susan was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble it seemed. The B&B is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast really good. Most of all Wincle is a very special part of the world, beautiful and wild… and we were pointed to a real gem of a pub, The Ship, for dinner which was a real treat. We will be back!

The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. If you need a place to stay in Marple this is the place. A beautiful house, exceptionally clean and comfortable topped off with the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I can highly recommend this gorgeous guest house and the attentive hosts.

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

My only disappointment is that I hadn't found this place sooner. We visit Hebden every year or so and this gas got to be one of our bedt stays yet. Flexible, easy to find, great, modern room and bathroom with lots of great little touches that demonstrates Mark doesn't take shortcuts. We'll definitely be back when we next visit. ps, great breakfast set up, with plenty of staff on hand to assist if needed. No cooked breakfast but plenty to choose from and hot tean and coffee on request 👍

We loved our short break at Hassop Station. The room was lovely, just as pictured. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was tasty, with good vegetarian options too. We enjoyed walking on the Monsall Trail (which we could join just outside the station) and doing a bit of shopping in nearby Bakewell. Hassop Station Rooms are great for a short break and we'd throughly recommend them.

The Old Vicarage is a lovely house in a nice village. There are many hikes you can do in the area. We enjoyed traveling the Peak District. The room was very clean and breakfast was great. Tricia was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. We recommend staying here strongly.

Had a great stay at Helen's house. Nice room with double bed, hanging space and chargers provided if needed. Helen also offers breakfast and there is water provided in the bedroom which is a nice touch. Helen is very well-organised and provides lots of information in folders in the bedroom. The location was excellent for my purposes and Chorlton offers a great variety of eateries and bars. All in all a great find and excellent value for money. I hope to stay again!

Lovely place to stay with a friendly host. Debbie made us feel right at home and we had access to all the amenities needed. I love staying in places that feel cozy and cared for!

The stay was nothing short of amazing. The space was clean, very convenient and also close to the city. Really calm space and will definitely return.

Andrew is an excellent host, we arrived early and he was very accommodating with the early check in. The house was perfect for us, few minutes walk to all pubs and restaurants. He gave us some great recommendations for real ale pubs. Brilliant veggie breakfast for me and a full English for the wife. We would recommend to stay there and hopefully we'll be back ☺️. Jenny's place was a real treasure to find. She made my wife and I really feel at home. Very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. We especially loved using the pod at the bottom of her garden which overlooked the canal.

We’ve just returned home from a perfect 2 night stay at Manx Villa B&B. By far the best place we’ve ever stayed (& we’re well travelled)! Leanda & Nige are the most thoughtful, friendly & welcoming hosts. They really looked after us, from the homemade cake treats in the room & the delicious breakfast each morning, to the helpful local tips & hand-drawn maps. The B&B is sparkling clean & the gardens are beautiful & very well maintained, with stunning views. Everything is exactly like the photos, although I would say the bedrooms are bigger in person. The bed is very comfortable & we slept so well that we just had to ask for the details to replicate at home. Our little cockapoo was also very well catered for & the doggy bath & robes were so handy. We don’t often return to the same place but we’ve definitely Peaked here & we can’t wait for our next visit! :-)

Leanda and Nigel were the most perfect hosts, very caring and kind natured and so helpful, informative, fun, generous and made us feel right at home. Their place is absolutely amazing and would be happy to pay much more than what we did to stay there. Beautiful location, home made cakes that were delicious in the room on arrival was a beautiful touch. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better stay away. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The fact they had a chalk board to let guests know when they were out and what time they were due back was adorable. We couldn’t rate our stay with Leanda and Nigel and better. 20/10 for rating, have already recommended to friends and will definitely come back to stay if in the area. This will be the best stay you have in the Peak District and we wish them all the best xxx

Fantastic hosts with lovely doggies. they made us feel right at home, like visiting family and we felt instantly comfortable. Despite also living in the space they were very understanding about what we needed for our baby. Everything was clean and amenities provided. was only a flyby stay but I would book here again 💯.

Very welcoming, comfortable and well equipped. Plus the host even supplied bread and milk which was very much appreciated.
