Thank you for letting us stay. The house was lovely and the surrounding area was great! The hot tub added a really nice touch to the evening, and the recommendation for breakfast at Arthur’s made our last day even better.

An absolute hidden gem! Never stayed in such a homely, cosy, relaxing, perfect cottage. Clean comfortable and homely. Had the dog and two young children with us yet didn't feel on edge as house uncluttered. We all enjoyed time in the hot tub and games in the safe garden.

We had a great time as a family of four. The hot tub was amazing with incredible views. Communication was great and the host replied promptly. Would stay again!

What a great holiday! The cottage is set in the most beautiful countryside with gorgeous views. There's lots of outdoor space to relax and unwind. Wehad a great time relaxing in the hot tub - a great advantage! Everything was perfectly clean and the host was very responsive.

Beautiful little cottage - perfect place to stay for an adventure in the Peak District! Also great for dogs with baby gates installed to keep them downstairs, it’s lovely to have these things already in place!

SnapTin is the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. The house itself has been lovingly restored and thoughtfully made into the most glorious holiday home with stylish furnishings and art work. Helen is a wonderful and generous host being communicative and also providing extremely thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the breakfast basket, the fizz and the little treats which made us feel welcome straight away. The situation of the house is almost at the end of a terrace right near a woodland so you can sit outside and really feel that you are in the countryside even though you are 5 mins walk from the centre of Bakewell. There are plenty of fabulous walks from the cottage with an abundance of guide books to choose from in the cottage. There is a designated car parking space which is easy to navigate and just a short walk from the door. We truly felt sad on leaving.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Allie’s cosy cottage in such a beautiful spot in the peaks! The property was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The view from the kitchen was stunning... and a real bonus was getting to say hi to the lambs on the farm, which made the experience even more special. It is the perfect base for some beautiful hikes in the Peak District, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a countryside escape. Thank you, Allie! - Jeremy and Amelia

Chimney Cottage was everything we expected and more. A gorgeous cottage in a quiet village with fabulous walks and scenery. The cottage was clean, cosy and very homely. We loved the log fire in the evening and the shower was fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

Beautifully renovated with great detail to warmth and comfort. Fantastic location if you just want to plant yourself and not get in the car again. Endless walks out from the front door. Drop dead gorgeous location high on the hillside at the end of a track.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Jacks cottage is in a great location, loads of walks on your doorstep. Pubs, convenience stores to get supplies/coffee and a lovely fish & chip shop all within a 2 minute walk of the cottage. The cottage was very clean, very comfortable bed and fireplace is a lovely touch Would definitely recommend!

Tracy was a great host with excellent communication. The Crooked Nook is lovely for 2-3 + our dog. Really well appointed kitchen and lots of useful guide books with every type of activity catered for. Fun to go old school with the CD player and CDs.

Beautiful cottage. Perfectly laid out - lovely garden. Great space. The kids (5 &9) loved the garden and having the playground next door. Tideswell is a great spot too. The local recommendations were brilliant. The staff and landlord at the Star Inn were welcoming and very friendly. Great trip.

Nice, clean, peaceful and private, great walks on your doorstep, great views, very comfortable. All the bits and bobs you need, great value for money.

We really enjoyed our trip to Youlgreave and would definitely look to return :) We found the location peaceful with some lovely walks nearby and it was an excellent base for exploring further areas of the Peak District. The house was well equipped with everything we could have needed and Jen and Simon were really responsive to any queries we had. We had some lovely weather and a fabulous trip, thank you for having us!

I stayed here for a wedding a short distance away and it was perfect. Quiet place to get ready, easy to find and within easy distance of everything. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had a lovely break on Carol's cottage. It was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. Situated right in the centre of the village everything is on the doorstep.
