Great spot for your trip to York if you’re driving about! Very quiet and private but on their land. Lovely hosts and always on hand to respond to any questions. Stayed for a month and was a perfect base! Underfloor heating was lush

Would 1000 percent recommend if you want to just chill or a romantic breakaway , absolutely spotless , we got a anniversary package and it was stunning , so pleased amazing for the price , amazing host , very friendly and helpful , jaccuzi with the tv amazing touch, and the sauna amazing ! A great find! Excellent apartment, comfortable, quiet and homely. Went for a swim and spa pool in the morning. Great facilities and spotlessly clean. Thirsk is only 4 miles away and had lots of good bars and restaurants to choose from. The accommodation made our weekend break even more special, and we'd definitely be back.

The place was clean and spacious with a large comfortable couch to relax on during the evening. Bryn was very friendly and shared activities to do around the area. The flat was close to a park that was nice to take walks in.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

I had the best experience at Luna’s house. I came to Manchester for the marathon and the house had everything I needed. Luna is an incredible person and she was so kind to offer me orange juice, bananas and running essentials before my race. The house is sparkling clean and probably the best I’ve been. Simply the best place to stay in Manchester - I am definitely coming again!!!!

Easily the best place that we have stayed. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything. Hot tub is amazing after long days out, the sauna is very great for relaxing and very spacious compared to others. The property is extremely clean and spacious. David generously allowed for an early checkin and also gave us an extra hour on our checkout day. I would 100% recommend staying here. We would have extended our stay had the date been available. Oh and the piano is a great touch!

As good as the photos are, it doesn't do the place justice. It's even better than described. We rented the place for a get together with family for our daughters first birthday. The bedrooms were great, comfortable and well decorated. There was plenty of space for socialising and lots to do. We would love to return here for further family get togethers, it is located in a beautiful quiet village, with a couple of waterfalls not far away. Sam was great from booking, to any further questions we had during the stay.

Beautiful home and very responsive host we had a great time however there is a £400 charge for cleaning and I fail to see how that was applied. You are expected to look after animals which was a bonus for our family but can see would be an inconvenience for some especially as there are no railings where chickens situated so not safe or easily got to. Lots of steps so any elderly relatives may struggle a bit but have completed fallen in love with Yorkshire place and people were fabulous!

The house was in a beautiful location for our stay and we enjoyed the added luxury of the hot tub and sauna. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. Gargrave is a lovely spot offering great access.
